In this video I am testing out Savilands 4 in 1 Excelsior nail kit. The one I ordered was for the glue on tips but u can also get the glue on full nails.
When I used the 4 in 1 glue on my tips they felt really sturdy but for some reason when it came to the full false nails I felt like I had to be SO careful with what I was doing, it might be the nails im using thou to be honest and not the 'glues' fault!
But reviewing just the tips which came with the kit, I would highly recommend it for beginners as it comes with everything u will need to apply ur own nail extensions (except a dehydrator and primer).

The kit is great! I prefer the full cover tips, but you can also use a thick viscosity builder gel if you use the half tips, to fill in the part where the tip meets your natural nail, and to provide some structure for the entire nail. Thanks for leaving in the ‘whoops’ with the crooked nail. I think the hardest part about applying these nails is keeping the nail straight while curing. With half tips it’s harder, because at least with the full tips you can get those plastic clips to hold the nail in place while you cure it. Also, I think your lamp may have been getting hot if you were using it to FULLY cure the nails. It’s actually meant to be used to FLASH cure them for 10 to 15 secs so you can apply them all and then cure the whole set in a full-sized lamp. Thanks for another great video! 💅🏻💗💗💗

I have the Beetles kit and love it! I use a layer of builder gel, as my nails are flat and thin, before I put on the whole tip. Great video thank you. X

The "4 in 1" definitely just sounds like a marketing stunt, since base coat has always been able to do those things😅 Definitely give it a try as your slip solution with polygel, though! It works really well with sticky polygels and helps me to prevent lifting. Also, I HIGHLY recommend getting a gooseneck UV lamp from curing tips on! I got mine for $17 from Amazon and haven't put a nail on crooked since!

OMG! I thought they only sent Amazon packages like that here in Canada. The one I got the other day was a record breaking waste. It was the same size box as yours (possibly even bigger) but with a SINGLE POLISH in it! lol. The polish was even hiding under the bottom flap of the box and I thought they shipped me an empty box. I couldnt believe it lolll. I laughed so hard when I saw the same thing in this video. It's so ridiculous. Great vid though! Thanks for sharing

I have the Saviland soft gels full cover nail kit. (I think it's the one you thought you were getting.) And I LOVE it. I have to choose nails a small bit larger than my actual nail because they have a VERY deep well for the nail bed and I have VERY flat nails, but I just put on Saviland's own dehydrator and primer (which I also love, I even use it when someone just wants glue-on temporary nails or don't want to hurt their nail beds so much with the acrylic or gel extensions or polygel, and the dehydrator and primer will make even plain glue on nails last more than 2 weeks a go, which I find to be incredibly impressive) and then the 4 in 1 builder/base/adhesive/slip solution (the exact same one in that kit, AND the teeny tiny lamp that I am SO obsessed with, it's so useful and adorable to boot!) as the base coat, then do two more thin layers of the same gel solution where I pull away from the cuticle edges and focus on the middle, getting smaller and more focused towards the center and free edge with the second and third layer, file down the sides of the full cover nails to fit MY nail shape better and to make the apex not quite so deep, and even though they have about half to two thirds of the full cover nails already matte on the side that you adhere to your nail, I just use my e drill to rough the whole part that comes in contact with my nail up a tiny bit better, and they are so thin yet strong with that little bit of give that I miss out on with acrylics so they don't chip and break so easily. I'm a bit of a rough and tumble, but I do like to have pretty nails lol. And they feel and look so NATURAL. They are ABSOLUTELY an outstanding purchase and have a loyal customer for life.

If u try it turning the lamp the other way so ur finger is straight up and down that's what I do no more wonkie nails lol. Love ur videos!!

You really make me laugh with your wonky nail, we all do it 🤣 It sounds like Saviland have taken a base coat gel and renamed it 4 in 1, most base gels do all of this anyway. Always use mine to stick on rhinestones and nail tips. In fact I prefer it for regular/small sized rhinestones. Not sure I’m convinced on the mini lamp, had a bad experience with a mini lamp not curing builder gel before and ended up with an allergy and seriously itchy fingers. Maybe good to flash cure only. 🤔

I've got a little lamp and when I'm sticking tips on instead of having it facing me I turn it to the left or right depending on what hand your doing I find it loads easier tysmfs x

I used to do the same thing, but finally bought a flexible gooseneck UV lamp from Amazon and it's made curing tips on SO much easier! Totally worth the $17 I spent on it!😅

Yeah unfortunately a lot of amazon packages are way off size the computer tells you what size box to use and obviously some staff dont have common sense to use and put it in a smaller one ,i know this cos i work at amazon i personally would have ignored the size and used smallest available . U can put gel on builder gel that is when using tips.. u prep ur nails and u should blend the tip with a buffer so if u were to wear them with no colour u wont c the tip, then ur acid free primer base coat then ur builder gel then u can just leave them as is or add gel polish and nail art if desired...

I’d imagine the wee button position on the lamp is so you can press it on once you’re in the lamp. Might make it easier getting the nail straight 😃

You didn’t know you can use basecoat for slip solution for polygel and to but tips on? It’s really great for polygel, it’s makes it lay so much faster and better. Every time I try to use basecoat, I always glue them on crooked but it does last better than nail glue cause nail glue wears off after a while

I get lots of packages from Amazon where whatever it is i ordered is small but it comes in a giant box and I think maybe they're out of the right size boxes so they just use whatever they have but I don't know

I work at Amazon so I know they send stuff in big boxes all of the time, I pack the packages and I downgrade the box, but they tell us don’t downgrade the box I it take more energy to build the big boxes

😂 I wish they’d quit with the 2-3-4-5-6 etc-in-1 stuff, it’s gel base coat. It’s not new, they didn’t create a new product or formula… just a new label and advertising pretending it’s new. It’s the same old thing that does the same things that all gel base coats do.
