I did a coaching course in 2016 and I remember smelling this amazing scent from someone on my course. I tracked it down to a lady who was wearing roses musk. It smelt so beautiful in the air... to the point that I was distracted and trying to find out who was wearing it. 🤣

I have over 200 fragrances, so I receive a lot of testers. I never used my testers, but recently, a friend of mine visited with her younger sister. Younger sister asked if she could have my testers, and I obliged. Now whilst driving them to the airport, I kept getting a whiff of her perfume, so I asked her who she was wearing. Her reponse "Aunty it's one of the testers you gave me. It's called roses musk by Montale" . Listen, as soon as I dropped them off at the airport, I drove straight to the store and bought full bottle

While listening to your video, I went to grab my sample of ristretto intense cafe, but I grabbed roses musk instead. Simple is what I thought when I first tried roses musk, but it is delicate and beautiful. You’re one of the main people who got me interested in Middle Eastern perfumes. I enjoy all your videos! ❤

My favs from Montale are Honey Aoud, Intense Cafe, Arabians Tonka, Oud Tobacco, Starry Nights. I havent got Black Aoud because its in the same vein as Mancera Black to Black which I have almost a full bottle still, but I like this type of scents for winter. Oudmazing is solid, I wear it when I want something fruity & oudy. Ristretto is on my list to at least check it out. I'd recommend you Oud Tobacco, which is totally different from the rest, similar to Pasha de Cartier Parfum. Starry Nights has lots of fruits and patchouli, perfectly unisex. And yes, Honey Aoud, probably my most complimented by the ladies, really nice scent.

Amazing review! I'm a big Fan of Montale fragrances. Oudmazing is just amazing. I think it's such a unique fragrance, but definitely not for everyone. I love the fignote. I would recommend you to try Dark purple, if you haven't yet. I feel like you would like this one 🥰💙✨

Your description perfectly captures the experience I have when I wear Jo Malone's Myrrh and Tonka. My life is all about making jewelry, spending time in nature, and generally being introspective. I've noticed that rose and patchouli has this calming effect, I would highly recommend you to look up Club de Nuit Intense for Women by Armaf, I always apply it when I have a lot going on in my mind and it's so calming and beautiful 🌠

I am always amazed how different a perfume is to one person to another! I own quite a few from Montale and every single time I wear Oudmazing I get compliments and on me, it is smooth, good projection and long lasting but smooth not sharp at all but I get what you are saying though. If you can get your hand on a sample of Honey Aoud, that has already been recommended, Aoud Melody and Fantastic Oud you might like those. The first two are similar but the oud in Aoud Melody is more potent, at least to my nose! 😉

Hi my dear, thank you for watching 🤗🌹 If you enjoy coffee I'd recommend you to also look up a sample of Coffee Addict, I don't remember if you've tried it but it's a beautiful gourmand coffee scent that smells like tiramisu (very realistic). I think you can find decants for Theodoros Kalotinis fragrances on scentsplit 🎇

I love Black Aoud, to me it has really strong incense sticks opening... not actual incense, but incense sticks, which I think is the most off putting for most people. To my nose, Montale plays with couple of different rose accords and this one in Black Aoud is the one I like the most because of it's dry and dusty texture, it feels almost like rose scented shisha smoke, more than actual rose. Another good one from Montale is Spicy Aoud (if Notino didn't mix my sample, 'cos officially this one doesn't have rose), also patchouli/rose/oud, but with zero incense sticks accord, it starts similar to Armaf CDNI Woman, but dry down is close to dry down of Black Aoud (Armaf loses rose in the dry down, this one has it all the way).

I’ve been watching your reviews for a while now and I must admit, I didn’t expect for you to ever say that a fragrance is too much 😂 Some think Arabians Tonka is a beast, but I think you enjoy it and you didn’t say it’s too strong. I guess Oudmazing is that loud, huh ? 😆😳😬I’m intrigued now!

Ohh with Oudmazing is tricky haha, not only that is very strong but it leans quite on the artificial side and is ultra sweet. Out of all of them I like the ristretto intense cafe followed by roses musk. Definitely sounds like ones I would like. Is the ristretto similar to black opium? That one is just okay

Thank you for watching 🌹❤ to my nose they're different, Black Opium is more simplistic and made to be liked by everyone while this one doesn't follow the same mainstream coffe scent DNA. It's worth getting samples of both to test them 🌠

I got a sample of black opium and I liked it but the coffee note faded within an hour. I purchased a sample of the intense cafe so I’m hoping it’s better. I tried the intense black aoud.. whoo it’s strong. 😅

Let me know your thoughts on Intense Cafe 🥳 It's very beautiful, the coffe note after a while fades as well into a creamy vanilla with rose. If you can find a sample of Coffe Addict by Theodoros Kalotinis I would highly recommend you to test it, it smells absolutely delicious like tiramisu with coffee and the coffe scent actually lasts 🥰 As for Black Aoud intense considering how strong it the regular version I can only imagine the stenght of the Intense one haha

If the woman is more delicate, elegant and feminine, more classy I'd say Roses Musk, if the woman is more sensual and then definitely go for Ministry of Oud Oud Satin, it's much more alluring and seductive. ✨

@@AFragrantGlance yes I’ve tried a couple form Rihanah , I own one called Sabah wa oud, smells like an airy shaghaf oud. It’s very popular. I’m not as familiar with Anfar, it’s a more recent brand.

I wrote a long comment about Black Aoud just before but it's disappeared, I must have put in a keyword there somewhere which the system didn't like in error and shoved it to a spam folder somewhere. Well I'm not writing it all over again it took me ages to do the first time lol. But I did come back to add a PS which I'll put anyway and that is I sprayed Black Aoud on paper about an hour before I sprayed it on myself, it's now been about 5 hours since it went onto my skin and when I smell the paper now it is all roses roses roses, same as it was at the start, but on my skin it has mellowed into something truly wonderful and different so I wanted to advise anyone thinking of getting a sample of it to try to definitely put it on your skin and not just on paper, it will not do it justice. Sorry about the other comment wherever it went, it was a compliment first then describing how I came to have Black Aoud now and what I think of it. Cheers.

RU-vid seems to flag random comments sometimes I'm not sure why, it's not in the 'held for review' section either. I completely agree, fragrances on skin develop so much more beautiful, that's the best way to test a fragrance and to get to feel all the nuances and textures of the scent, on paper so much of those beautiful subtle details are lost. @@AFragrantGlance No I haven't tried any other Montale fragrances as yet, but I gather from reviews I have seen here and there of different Montale fragrances they all have a similar character and are all extremely powerful ('beast mode') which I like the idea of, I'm tired of things which last only a couple of hours. I used to almost exclusively wear fragrances with citrus opener and oakmoss base etc and they just did not last. Nice, sophisticated, but weak. I will say the only thing I do not like about my Black Aoud is the atomizer spray, it rotates badly on its own (so is sometimes hard to aim and can waste fragrance) and gives a bad uneven lumpy spray and even squeaks when I rotate it back, I think I got a bad one. I don't really like the metal flacon either, feels cheap. But the fragrance, I adore it. I will definitely try others from Montale.
