Just started playing soccer again at 17, after not playing since 13(quit because I felt my size was too big a disadvantage) but your journey has inspired me and I’m glad to be playing again

I play for MNUFC YDP, I like the program. It was Danny, he coaches pure vida he is a great coach.

Cool view into the trial. Loved the discussions on nutrition; it's something that's super easy to overlook, but very important for playing at an elite level for any sport. Re: the weather: yeah, for a couple months of the year, we just kind of have to deal with it, but a few things make it bearable - a)by the looks of it, you managed to be in town for some of the coldest days we've had this year; it's cold, but typically not quite *that* cold. b) your body actually does acclimate over time. The first week or two of cold weather each winter tends to be rough, but if you can get through that, you'll be okay. c)we have a lot of infrastructure up here to ensure that you don't have to spend much time out in the cold if you don't want to. and d)our summers and autumns make up for it. I'll take a MN winter over a Houston summer every time.
