So sad, that in modern gaming industry the new release trend is: -release the game in a broken state -apologize for the poor state it was released and promise to do better in the future -release patch hopefully in the first few weeks, that fixes some bugs but not all of them -the game might be in a playable state in a year or 2 if at all -repeat with the next title

Lord of the rings gollum is like one of those games that gets announced then doesn’t come out and everybody asks why and then it’s revealed the studio pulled the plug because it wasn’t up to quality. This is one of those games but they failed to pull the plug

The difference between Low and Epic is you can see how bad the game really is on Epic unlike Low where it's a bit blurry, hiding the flaws more.

I torrented the game to try it out, didn't even finish tutorial before I quit, uninstalled and deleted the .iso from my hdd. I think I played for about 2 minutes before I found the game unbearable and so shit I knew I'd never bother playing trough it.

This is running on Unreal Engine 4, btw. Same engine as Hellblade, FF7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, and The Callisto Protocol. Somehow, STILL ends up looking like a Xbox 360 game from 2007 😂

Are you streaming from the same computer you're playing on? I know it should be capable of doing it, its just the stream is locking when the game locks the PC. It would just be a overall better experience if you have a separate PC streaming your gaming PC. If you do have a separate streaming PC, then Never Mind. 😏

The only good thing to come out of this awful game is that this developer is finished.

Looking at their previous games, which they seem to be very efficient at pumping out to a fair bit of positive acclaim, this is one of their first attempts at CGI visuals and I think the very first attempt at something non-isometric, non-side-scrolling and non-point-and-click. Not apologizing for them, of course, as I don't have the power to do so with it being valid, just saying I understand why they're struggling. Then again, BGS have dabbled in this exact thing for decades and still aren'tr able to produce something less than 50% jank.

10/10 for being full of bugs
