This is either a mad coincidence or RU-vid recommendations can now read minds. I watched Alfie's first video over a year ago, subscribed, but have never been recommended another one. Then yesterday he just crossed my mind and I hoped he's doing well cause he's a true gentleman which is rare these days. Then today this video appears on my recommendations. That's proper minter for a mk3 judging by its mot history mate! Its only done less than 38000 miles last mot :O and probably been in garage most its life because these rot like crazy lol ,so Ild recommend a few things and one of these in good condition is worth much more than you think. I would definitely recommend spraying all the rubber bushes, brake pipes and shocks and springs with silicone lube, you can use it anywhere underneath but don't need to do exhaust :P Its like 5 quid a can from halfords, it rejuvenates rubber, ball joints/ cv boots, shock absorbers and rubber bushes so they don't deteriorate as much or if at all. I'd also get some waxoil or grease and then rub it all under the sills/ rear arches/ rear subframe, any where underneath, do it on a dry day and use wire brush on rust underneath and then coat it. For outside rust on wheel arches etc just rub most of it off with sand paper and get some ku rust from halfords, its about 8 quid, it reacts with rust and coats it, you can then paint over it. Alfie is another Fred dibnah. Odd Jobbing UK could be a huge show. Having him take on a new challenge in each episode giving his thoughts on it, the people and the history, dibnah style. All the UK jobs only the lower class get to do,.e.g - pony walks on beach, arcade change giver, shelf stacking, trolley collecting, factory work, painting over graffiti, council jobs etc , the are possibilities are limitless and would be fun and relatable.

Everyone is a proper stinge at car boot. I sold a chess set once for £1.57 after I got into a bartering war with some fella. He came back an hour later asking for a refund as he didn't have enough to buy a chair he wanted. I told him to keep the set and gave him his money back. Turns out several others had taken pity done the same and he had a haul of stuff for nowt 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good to see the car boot is still on at cattle market, Hoyles have been putting it on for years, il have a look there this summer. Crackin stuff Alfie lad.

What happened to your van ? You had 59 reg van but now driving around in this fiesta from probably around some time in 1995 not that any problem when the car is from but you had a not so old van
