Okay, welcome to the hobby! First thing, you are supposed to put a little tention with the wrench on the core Second, you are using the pick the wrong way around, you are supposed to push the upper pin(the one right under the springs) just over the sheer line, this you would do with the pointy part of the pick (single pin picking) Almost all other tools you have, are rakes, to use them, put an rotating tention on the core, not to heavy and push and pull the rake in and out. You got a good set to understand what is going on in a lock, but for the actual picking, the first lock i would recommend is the master no.3 I would recommend to wach a few videos on single pin picking!
