Sorry for a serious comment, but I think some context may be interesting to others. This pack is not really what you expected it to be, it is more of a reply to all the early attempts of making a gregtech pack for 1.7.10, when all the unbalanced mods like ender io or mekanism were added along with gregtech allowing for tier skips, free osmium and so on. Remember, it originally comes from the time when BloodAsp was still actively developing GT5U, not to mention that all the other mods were also being updated for 1.7.10, so it was not like now, when if you want to maintain a GT pack you need to have a group of dedicated developers as in GTNH or Impact. Hence, the "ideal" industrial pack - the pack, where such inconsistencies are removed (by removing the unnecessary mods and gregifying the rest) to allow for a close to perfect, untainted experience of gregtech. And while it is stable and polished, it is lagging behind and limited in support after the creator has lowered his involvement in its creation (after he had a child). At the time of its creation and peak i would actually prefer to play it over any other gt pack, including gtnh, due to how well balanced it always has been. But now, of course, with all the time gtnh had to catch up in balancing and improve in other areas, the standing is obvious (unless, of course, you are looking for a "only gregtech modpack").
A lot of people don't get the main thing of this modpack. It's not about speed of completion. It's about STYLE. Look some Sapient's tutorials or game series. Space planning, architecture, automation. Experiments! Excel!!! Also he is the main source of knowledge about gregtech in Russia. All russian greggies were taught by Sapient one way or another. Most important thing for players as a result not to get a rare resource, but to build THE FACTORY.
I think a more accurate translation of Идеальная Индустриальная Сборка would be Ideal Industrial Modpack since the word сборка usually means a collection of mods (aka a modpack) in the Russian modded mc community also greg
let's make it funny and say that it's not modpack but ASSEMBLY after all. you know, kinda like, you create the modpack from scratch yourself, you ASSEMBLE its parts together to make it work lol
I found let's plays of this pack that is 7 years old, the pack itself might be even older. I think an art of making mod packs progressed quite a lot since then.
this pack might be good for first time players i think. the original intention (iirc) was to make gregtech experience as pure as possible, a la no extra stuff (comes at some QoL cost)

I suggest trying Pluma on 1.12, it is kinda like interactions but the beginning is pyrotech. Also it;s a relatively new pack so it only has progression up to ev/iv
I ask the community for help, I choose a modpack, between gtnh and nomifactory Ceu. I don't like starting gtnh (I stopped right before lv) but it seems to start to accelerate but I'm not sure. Should I start my gregtech experience with nomifactory or get used to grinding a bit. Sounds stupid, but it's a tough choice for me.
@@thousandneedles4699 I thought for a long time, thought about it and still chose GTNH, all the same, the sophistication and active community in the segment of my language (I'm not English-speaking) is captivating, I have already reached the stage of creating EBF, and I feel I want to go through all the worthy mod packs with gregtech
@@whitetea9217i stopped right before EBF. Like... I have everything i need... Just need a ton of wood (coal and creosote) to run my boilers and machines for some hours to process it all. I dont want to.
I played this pack one year ago on the server till MV, but only gregtech progression burns out me fast and i dropped, and also pack looked outdated. For now i'm playing GTNH and kinda enjoy because you don't just rush tech progression, there's a lot more thing to do except gregtech, like food, tinker weapons/tools and magic, and of course gtnh much more polished because creators invest many hours to the pack. Also the main thing of IIS is pure gregtech experience, there's no many recipes of machines that required stuff from other mods and recipes not so many changed from "vanilla" gregtech like in GTNH
But creator of the pack i think gave a lot to russian speaking community gregtech knowledge. I don't think there's so many russians would play gregtech if not him :)
I'm from Russia and played in IIA. In the middle of the video you created the world incorrectly. In "More world options" you have to change the generation to "Real Terrain Generation". And I'm writing this two months after the video was posted :/
