I haven't tried it, but I've seen a lot of my Korean and Korean-American friends post about this. I love that you were able to share your take on it and I definitely want to try it after seeing your video! I know the items are from Korea's Shake Shack menu and is popular overseas. I wish the flavors were more authentically Korean - especially if it has gochujang in the name. Is this fusion or appropriation? Good question!

Yes! I heard that this was tested in Korea as well. I’d be curious to know if the recipe was the same. Also, the menu name was “Korean INSPIRED” so I guess the “inspired” part is accurate, even if only very loosely.

I also noticed there isn’t a lot of people inside the shake shack. It looks safe to dine in. Maybe we need to venture out a little.
