What a great idea, cant wait to see a new generation of musicals with these tools just to hand. I wonder how many great idea riffs have been lost because they were forgotten.
A guitar culture shock Ernesto ! I’m an old guy now and welcome change reluctantly. However, this instrument is a one man band of the present and future. Your beautiful Martin remains though. In the background like a patient ghost from the past. Admire and love what you do. Having watched you play the Martin for hundreds of hours makes me think that you may not be all together comfortable with the Lava Me. Best wishes
Thanks for the comprehensive overview. I like the core idea but I think it's missing a pedals board with a screen paired via wireless (it could be a product add-on) so you can change stuff mid playing. Btw, does all the audio processing goes through the jack or only the raw audio capture? Did you noticed any delay from the audio processing?

Awesome review man! Damn I need me a lava me 3 now that was just sick. The only problem in general about the whole idea of a smart guitar though is well... technology gets outdated as apposed to your Martin there it will always be a gem. Awesome toy though!
Great review Ernesto. Thanks. What size guitar are you using.....36 inch or 38 inch? I am an experienced guitarist looking to take my playing to next level and will be spending many hours outside practicing. Just concerned that 36 inch may be a tad too small. Love to hear from you or anyone who uses either 36 or 38 inch size. I want to make sure my practicing translates to my full size guitars. Thanks for any advice.
This seems really innovative. I wouldn't say it is something to use for music production, but for experimenting, mid-level practicing, or just having a chill session or karaoke night with friends. I wonder how far this technology can be more streamlined into traditional acoustic and electric guitars. This from someone who doesn't play an instrument, though. I did pick up a bass ukulele and a cheap harmonica, but my free time is nocturnal hours, so I never have time to learn.
Hey man, thanks for the great video. Have you figured out what the live button & turbo button do ? Also am i right in thinking that the templates don’t allow you to play more than one effect at a time ? Cheers Jasmie
Great review, might give it a shot sometime so i wont have to be paranoid with my humidity for my expensive acoustics. What’s the name of the song at 5:42? Sounds familiar but can’t place it.
great video Ernesto! with a pickup it's like an electric guitar, simulating an acoustic? how do the strings & action feel, vs your Martin? is it adjustable? being carbon fiber, be careful with your tapping/slapping techniques! :O
To be honest it's more comfortable to play than my Martin, but i haven't gotten my Martin set up properly in years! It already sounds really good acoustically, you can hear it during the unboxing section where I just have the microphone on.
After setting it up using wifi, can all the features (except for sharing to their app community) work off wifi? I'd be using this sometimes campi where no phone sign is even available.
The true benefit of carbon fiber is that it doesn't really get affected by humidity and temperature changes like wood does. There are wooden guitars that have chorus, reverb, and delay built in, but my next purchase is carbon fiber to travel and camp with, specifically.
