1) Mămăligă is made from corn meal, not potatoes. 2) You are supposed to eat the pepper with the meat. It’s not plastic or anything. 3) Kűrtoskalacs (sorry if spelt the name wrong) is a Hungarian dessert.
@@TheFloatingSheep it's a Hungarian desert, and I'm saying this as a Romanian. It originates from the hungarian people living in transilvania, not the romanian ones, it just got popular with the romanians
First one is cuilama of chicken with mushrooms. (i am romanian) Second is mamaliga (flour, cornsyrup, water, salt) Third is filled peppers. Fourth is pork and chicken sausages, they are chewy, the romanian secret mustard is naturally homemade and always fresh!
As a Romanian the last one is not actualy "romanian food" i mean you can find it in Romania and we like it but we call it "cozonac secuiesc" and that mean is a maghiar food . Kurdos colac or something like that in maghiar
Bro as a morrocan im in severe pain right now (beside of the fast) you really said that you dont think that you can eat the pepper , its the whole idea of it , in morroco we do this meal to
It is kurtos and im from Romania and im very happy that u like the food i think you should try the ,,cascaval pane" and,,cheese cake cu fructe de padure" and,,sarmale cu smantana"
I'm Romanian but I also know English, the first dish in English was called chicken stew with mushrooms of two poles the third was Romanian stuffed peppers the fourth was famous small Romanian garlicky meat sausages
I'm glad you like remaining food, I'm Romanian too, and those stuffed peppers, you can eat the peppers and the sausages, those are no sausages, those are much that's what they are called
How she said "ciulama de pui cu ciuperci" had me rolling on the floor🤣🤣 it means "(ciulama) with chicken and mushrooms" The second its made of corn meal The third: yes, you can eat the pepper, its just pepper lol
Mamaliga is polenta which is made of corn meal and mici is pronounced meech Chimney cake is not a cake more like sweet bread normally coated in sugar and cinnamon 😅 Hope this helps Btw I’m a Romanian so I know what I’m talking bout k❤❤
Mamaliga, known as polenta to the rest of the world, is made by boiling cornmeal(malai) in water and salt until you have a porridge. Depending on what type of cornmeal you use, you can make a smooth and creamy mamaliga, like the one shown here, or a more dense and porous mamaliga, that feels like cornbread
The peppers from the "ardei umplut" or "stuffed pepper" is eatable but beware as the flour which was put on the meat part of the food cannot be eaten. Also dipping bread in it is vsry good
Ciuperci means Mushroom Mămăliga means Polenta Ardei umpluți means Stuffed peppers Mici as food means small meat sausages, it has beef or pork Chimney cake means Cozonac seuiesc (Kürtőskalács in Hungarian)
