I learn the most from you. I can’t express enough how nice it is that you continuously try different looks. I really like a lot of RU-vidrs but sometimes it is always the medium crease shade, dark outer corner, and light first third of the eye. And yes I really do still like that a lot, but it gets kind of boring to watch when it is every look with just a different palette. Thank you for always giving us interesting, fun, and creative looks. And your personality and humor are also amazing ♥️
I agree so much. Most of the you tube tutorials end up with the same style and same colors it's gotten very boring so thank you for keeping it interesting and new.
So true. Some youtubers even just use the same nude shades over and over just with different products. Like, okay you feel pretty like that and you get paid to promote but why would it interest me to watch you do the same thing over and over again?! I dont have the money for new products, what I want are new looks with the stuff I have at home!
During your intro, you look so much like how I remember my mom looking when I was a little kid in the early 90s. 😍 The full, straight, fluffy bangs and the long dark hair in a half pony. It made me smile. I hope this doesn’t come across as though I’m saying you look old or outdated; I truly mean it as a compliment. My mom was then, and still is even now, a very beautiful woman. Your intro just gave me flashbacks for a second of sitting on the floor next to her at her vanity while she put on makeup or did her hair, so I thought I’d share. I love my mom. 🖤

I took the Cle de Peau with me to a small town in Germany. My foundation went missing and I could not find a store that had foundation I liked. I ended up using the concealer for two weeks as my foundation and could not have been happier. I now frequently use it as a foundation when I want full coverage. Cle de Peau is an old school staple. Used to be the go to concealer when I was young.

I looove this grungy eye look! Turned out so cool. Idk if this is good news or bad news, but I also use the CDP concealer and it lasts FOREVER. I’ve used it at least 4-5 days a week for over a year and I’m still on the same tube. I’ll continue to repurchase it forever. It’s really worth the $ in my opinion because you barely need any to get the job done :) so don’t be afraid to use it!

What a gorgeous look! I was initially very tempted by both Gemini palettes, and almost bought them; however, after i thought about it for a while, i decided not to, simply because each palette only has two shimmers. I just don't find all- or mostly-matte palettes very interesting. I most definitely will be re-creating this eye look with shadows i currently own, though!

I’ve been wanting to get the original Gemini palette since watching you do looks with it years ago, but as you say, it was sold out for a very long time. Now that you showed the Gemini II, I’m also in love with it color story. Maybe come autumn, I’ll get both ❤️

I never picked up the original Gemini because I was worried about all the quality issues I had heard about, but now I'm really interested in both of them. I also didn't wear dark eyeshadows anywhere near as much as I do know, so thought I wouldn't use them enough but now they are way more my vibe.

I never used anything from Cle de Peau since they are so expensive, but I remember when I was living in Japan it was really popular and often compared to Dior, although Dior isn't as expensive. I never new CDP was a Japanese brand until I saw it so popular over there for luxury makeup
you shouldnt ever feel bad for using pricey products! It shouldddd be the best for that price ya know! we all strive for more affordable products that do the same thing but I mean when theres something you want and you find it USE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! lol xoxox

Really, really love this look, Julia! And Dennis needs to move over, because that Clé de Peau concealer is an actual menace. It replaced my longtime favorite (the Dior Forever concealer.) My poor wife’s eye starts to twitch if she’s in the bathroom with me while I’m getting ready, because while she couldn’t give two Fig Newtons about makeup, she does care about our bank account, and knows I can’t stop using the CDP because it’s just that good. Marriage is fun. 😄
