Thanks! Usually I shoot with prime lens, the pictures at night were all taken with the 50mm

18-105 still sharp enough for photography ?

In good light yes, but it is still softer than other lenses. In low light It gets too slow and misses focus half of the time on moving objects. I mostly use it for video. For photo only when I really need the extra reach and I know there will be good light.
