She is just showing content. For others out there that don’t know, like me. I’m very proud of Nicki, as a Dutch person that she still has her, Dutch spirit. We try it all y’all need to stop whining.
Bright colors pop on dark skin, that’s why the color is more vibrant and luminous on the darker skin tone. It looks clownish like she said on fair skin.
The first girl had a very light, dewy base while Nikkie has very heavy, max coverage and is very light make up is making the blush appear to mixed with a lighter pigmentation which is taking away from the sunset affect. Try to do this again with less makeup and a bigger brush to replicate the effect. It looked stunning.
I think my favorite thing about Nikki is how excited she gets about other people's ideas!! It lifts them up in a way, by showing off their content, and because imitation is a form of flattery!
Yes, and NO FILTER!! She needs to stop with the filters! It's deceptive as to the actual finished outcome. Ppl especially newbies won't know this and will be disappointed when their outcome is different
If you do it all in one go the colors will melt beautifully while remaining a bit separate like hers if you use painting techniques for blending that look . I've been painting landscapes for years and focus on sunsets , it actually translates to makeup techniques quite well ! There's something that makes the look so much more professional if you apply all 3 and then start blending towards eachother .
She is paler, so should have used similar, lighter products. Plus her makeup is too heavy. It needs to meld into skin. It’s not going to work for everybody unless you replicate it taking into account your own features. She should have used a lighter peach and pink instead of the more vibrant ones that suit darker skin tones.
I think it was too much. The second one looked really nice especially after the eye shadow 😊❤ But we all have different opinions so I Will agree that some will like the first one better 💖
@@JamieModelvsDirectorthe second one had waaaayy too much going on. The blush was supposed to be the focus and ended up being lost under everything else
Then Nikki should mention that especially for newbies who don't know stuff like that. As well as 86 the filters, you get yet another different outcome than in real life
I use a bit lighter orange, coral and a mid tone pink, with the golden highlighter and blend going from front to back. It works so beautifully and it’s easy.
Do You Happen to Know Which Liquid Highlighter Was Used? Or Do You Have a Recommendation For One? Lol I Don't Know Very Much About Liquid Highlighter Because I Don't Usually Use It 😊❤
I have been using the elf halo glow or Blend Bunny’s Pastel eyeshadow palette has a beautiful gold shimmer I like also. Honestly it depends how how shimmery you want to go. Any gold highlighter will work, I actually prefer to use powder highlighter over top of my powder but sometimes I start with the gold halo glow or even a glow drop product. I do not know what she has in the video but I am looking for it. lol.
I was thinking that adding some purple BELOW the pink, while keeping everything else as is, might look really lovely, because purple has some tones in common with contour I sometimes use it lower on my cheeks and blend it into whatever main blush I'm using higher up, and it ads to the contoured blush look.
If you did one dot of each, it would probably be easier. Lighter skin needs less pigment, im pale and i need to be verry gentle with blush or i end up looking sunburnt
@@A_1269_aummm, yes! Nikki was so light handed with it. It was be too much on her light skin. But the other girls golden skin can handle the heavy color and look gorgeous
it's the brown eyes too ngl, the blush is the pop of colour. but for blue eyes orange and pink are complimentary (opposite) colours, so when you look at her final makeup it's the eye colour that stands out and the blush kinda blends together with the eyeshadow and the lips
That first girl does not have golden skin! 😂😂😂 She just added golden highlighter drops to her brown skin lol. Nikki has a very heavy, cakey matte foundation which muted the colors and the highlight. She'd have to try it again with a bare face or sheer skin tint.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Something about how bright these warm toned colors are just look better on a darker skin tone. Either way, it still looks super pretty!
Hello Nikki!! I just wanted to tell you about my favourite lip combo! It’s miss Dior (red lipstick) or just any red lipstick and then Crave (glitter lipgloss). i just wanted you to try it because i know you like glitter ✨ same here girly!❤ byeee have a nice day or night! Edit: you also have to just tap on the lipstick to give that korean lips. you can blend it out with your fingers or with a brush. and don’t apply the gloss over your whole lips just tiny dots. then you blend out as normal!❤❤
I still love vedios, too! I absolutely love makeup! I want to make longe form vedios on my channel. But I'm almost 40, so I Maynor be using what the popular brands are.
Wow! You are quite impressive at doing makeup 💄. Do you accept questions? That is, is there a way to contact you directly with some quick make-up inquiries? Thank you.
Nikki I really think your would look much lovelier if you didn’t put so much full coverage foundation on. Natural skin with its different tones and hues is so pretty.
I really admire the way she does makeup and more than her skills, I admire her boldness in trying new ideas! 💗 But I cannot tell you how happy I was to see that little crease line on her eyelids that I always get after applying tinted moisturiser!! I always thought it was just my greasy skin or the fact that I'm terrible at eye makeup 😊
It's definitely not you...I will say as a oily girlie I struggle with the same issue and do feel the more oily your skin is the more it 'moves' however I have found using cream foundation and blush works alot better with a VERY THIN layer of setting powder 😊
I like putting a thin layer of eyeshadow primer on my eyelids AND my under eye area and letting it dry down for a minute BEFORE I even put on foundation, concealer and eyeshadow. The Milani eyeshadow primer is awesome, I also like spraying my beauty blender with Milani's setting spray when I blend my base in, taking great care when blending it out around my eyes and this helps from my base and eyeshadow products mitigating and gathering in my eyeball creases, top and bottom
The girl has much darker skin and different undertones than Nikki, that definitely makes a difference as to how it well come out. Something to keep in mind before buying and using. I think Nicki should mention this so ppl know
No its just you’re extremely light and the other lady is darker than you. I think by now as a makeup artist you would already know for your skintone that putting excess product will look extremely harsh on you. All you had to do was put less product and it would have looked way better!
please film a long form video doing a full face of crazy mind blowing products (super color shifting chrome eyeshadows/lips, color changing blushes, etc..)
