It’s literally nothing new, Tesla has been doing it since 2012. Great technology, pathetic that people pretend to think it’s a bad thing that tracks has highly advanced software because they obviously know that’s what makes it even better
It’s definitely something you have to get used to. It messes up sometimes and you have to take over but overall it’s great. The real trick is becoming comfortable with just monitoring the car just in case, I mean we all learned to drive our cars, not be driven by them, so it’s really weird.
I keep hearing the FSD just gets better and better. I'll be giving it another try today. It's been very nice. If it's even better, I may have to purchase it.
@@c8ke78 they have bad build quality, you literally have to do everything by the screen, they are ugly asf I'll probably list more when I come back from the shower
It doesn't do that. You update when it's parked. It's fine to drive on any version, just won't have the latest features. They're basically the only cars that gain more features for free over the life span of the car.
@@Attainable_ ya but this comment (the one clifford said) he said something not real and is a joke which is something not real so ya i dont get it why the other guy took it real serious (no hate)
Call me old school but I hardly trust other drivers talk less of being driven by a computer. I'll stick to conventional driving for the foreseeable future 🤷🏽♂️
Did well with open streets but didn’t inspire enough confidence in full traffic. Some maneuvers were so slow and hesitant it angered other drivers. Anticipating the car on the streets was more difficult than driving manually. Happy to test but won’t be using in this environment
Same here, I am very impressed with it. I’ve only had one issue when it hit the brakes because someone looked like they wanted to try and jump in the lane
When I get in my car, I push the brake, start button, and shift it into reverse. To accelerate, I push the gas pedal. To turn, I use the steering wheel. I like to drive and I will not let self driving cars take over me. I don't have anything against electric cars and the ones that drive themselves on the highway are cool, but I just can't trust a car driving itself in the city.
You just need good reaction time and a gps/smartphone. My friend has a terrible memory too, he just uses the maps app to get everywhere. Including my house, where he’s been visiting me for 15 years lmao
I can‘t even chill when someone else is driving can‘t also trust AI, someone else can still cause accident. If i have the full control of the car the chances to safe the situation is definitely higher!
Good GOD this would give me several heart attacks😭 Even using cruise control makes me anxious af, & I’m still physically in control then. It IS cool though!
You should get out of the car walk somewhere close and call it like an anonymous Uber. Edit: sit in the back. At a private or empty place of course and with someone else to.
What are the cops going to do when everyone has a self driving car that always drives perfectly and doesn't commit citable traffic offenses? Where will that ticket revenue come from?
