I love this look! It’s very French girl effortless. Your skin looks soooooo blurred. That blush is ridiculously expensive but the way it blurred your cheeks is unreal. I love the red lip color! Chanel is my favorite beauty brand and I’m always surprised it’s not talked about more. In the past year I’ve significantly pared down my makeup collection to basics I use every day. It’s mostly Chanel products (bronzer, eyeshadow, the shine stick, lipstick) and drugstore products (concealer & powder). I think the splurge on Chanel is worth it!
You’re right. I have been doing the same a prefer to have a more small makeup collection with really nice products that work well 😊 and I’ve been collecting a few Chanel products
Just bought skin tint yesterday - so far it’s beautiful (I’m 44 and looks so nice on skin of that age) And the little brush I put in my purse to touch up with concealer throughout the day if needed & works so well!
The Chanel Water Fresh Tint has been one of my favourite foundations since it first launched! I suggest it to all my customers and it looks beautiful on every skin type and age! I feel like between the Water Fresh Tint and the Complexion Touch you get more buck for your bank from the first one just because it’s 85$ for one full ounce and you don’t need a lot since it acts as a blurring filter for the skin. As for the blush, I like the shade Light Pink and they are definitely pigmented but I have other liquid blushes that give me the same watercolour effect for less! I haven’t had the chance to try the new mascara so that’s next on my list! Glad you liked the foundation and the lipsticks! 💗💗💗
It’s $85 for 20ml-which is 0.68 ounces (or, almost 7/10 of an ounce). For one ounce of this Chanel tint, it’s $127.50. That is extremely expensive for a skin tint. If your clientele is able to afford expensive makeup, then a client simply wants the best product for her skin. I think that a client is responsible for figuring out the price of her cosmetics using a standard unit and then decide if she feels that fits in with her budget. In Canada, when products are brought in from the USA, we often get strange numbers on our units noted on a package because it’s original unit isn’t metric. For example, if a product is 1.5 ounces in the USA, that is 44 ml in Canada and other countries; Two ounces is 59 ml, and so forth. Sometimes, that makes it hard to compare products because then you have to do calculations to compare prices. Some people may not have time to this or simply don’t want to do all of these calculations. Furthermore, some people may not have the skills to do this task.
Typically I just pump out the fresh tint and apply it straight to my face. I don’t break the pigment spheres on my hand first, break them as you are applying the product to face
I would suggest putting a few pumps of the foundation onto a palette and mixing it on the palette to break open the pigment spheres vs on your hand (so that you don't end up wasting any product on your hand). It looks beautiful!
This look is so beautiful on you! This is the exact make-up style I am looking for. I have been using the Rose Inc. skin tint, but apparently they will stop selling this product soon (I can't even find my shade anymore) so I have been more curious about the Chanel version.
I LOVE the blushes OMG OBSESSED! I have three... they are THAT good to me easy and long wearing...many ppl don't like them and I feel like the trick is to put the product directly on a wet sponge and blend and not on the hand.... ugh they so good!
Chanel is & will always be my favorite brand for makeup. I especially love their foundations. My first ever high end makeup purchase was an eyeshadow duo. I was Christmas shopping with my husband & we were walking by a Chanel counter & this shadow caught my eye. My jaw dropped of course when I saw $$, but surprisingly it was my husband that talked me into getting it❤ lol. I actually too just went by a counter to look into this complexion touch & she put it on me & I was blown away. Will be purchasing it along with 1 of the blushes. ❤
Chanel has gorgeous skin care and makeup. I’ve used quite a few of their products and have always been so impressed. I find their formulas to be impeccable. Obviously their are occasional misses and of course it depends so much on skin type and preference but overall the range is top notch from complexion to color product. My only complaint is the color range - it’s limited. The complexion products leave a lot to be desired and the eyeshadows, as beautiful as the formula is, are basic basic basic. That being said, I always reach for my Chanel products when I’m in a rush or bored or don’t know what to do or need something just works.
Love your wear test videos! If I could request that you also include scent warnings for foundations you try/recommend. There have been a few I purchased by your recommendation and had to immediately return because it had such an overpowering fragrance. 😔
I am once again here to sincerely say THANK YOU for saving me money on the blush. I am def intrigued by the foundation and would love to try it. I really like the Chanel cream eyeshadow and they used to have eyeshadow sticks I ADORED but they were limited edition. *cries* lol. Thank you for another fantastic vid!
@@stevdaughtr6098 The No.1 foundation compared to this feels more of a foundation.Medium coverage to full while buildable.The water fresh tint due to based on water feels way more lighter on the skin and less pigmented than the No.1 and a lot fresher. I adore both and i could say that the Water fresh tint is your skin but better. I wear it most on summer days when I want a no make up make up look but still FLAWLESS while I tend to use the No.1 on the days that i need to cover dark spots and discolouration from past pimples. I loveeeeeeee lovvveee both the water fresh tint and their newer fuller coverage their water fresh tint blushes are probably the most beautiful blushes I’ve ever tried ever…worth the money 💰 in my opinion
I LOVE Chanel products! Their concealer is beautiful, their healthy glow foundation is beautiful, their mascaras are amazing, their lips products are also great & their cream bronzer. I can’t say enough good things.
Wow I have so much to say!! I used to use before they discontinued it - the pen concealer! It was my holy grail for probably 15 years! It was the best concealer for me!! The sales associate sold me that foundation you used as a concealer. I absolutely hated it for that because it made my under eyes so shiny it was awful and so I gave it back. I just bought the blush that you’re using in the exact same colour! I really like it so far I’m sure I could’ve bought a less expensive one but this one intrigued me and it actually looks great with my skin tone perfectly!
I'm 30 and I've been using Chanel make up since I was in high school, its my go to, rose inc actually copied Chanels first foundation like this, the one you got is a longer wearing one, and I really need to try it.
I love Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. I keep coming back to it for years. It evens out my skin and blurs my pores while still looking like skin.

the Chanel lip products are so amazing and compared to other high end brands like Dior are on par with the pricing. The lipgloss and rouge coco flash (a sheer, shiny lipstick) are my absolute favorites.
I loved this video. The makeup is gorgeous. Your skin looks great. I got the foundation a couple of months back but haven’t used too much because it’s too light over summer. But the time I wore it I loved it. I’m 48 and have combination skin so was worried that it might be too glowing on me but it wasn’t. I got the blush too. I like it but I don’t wear heavy blush and it dispenses too much for me. I feel like I’m wasting product! I might try with a brush like yours the next time. I would buy the foundation again but not too sure about the blush. I can’t wait to put the foundation on again after watching this.

Loved this Jamie! Chanel makeup is not hyped enough even though it’s usually perfect if you’re looking for something minimal and effortless that will NOT age you or make you look overdone. These are my top 3 Chanel HGs that I just never not have: Chanel N.1 foundation Chanel les beiges cream bronzer Chanel le rouge duo ultra tenue There are so many others that I love (primer, tinted moisturizer, mascara, blush, eye pencils, many many lipsticks, and my fav everyday palette: les 4 ombres in claire obscur), but I’m pretty sure they’re dupe-able or not really must-haves for everyone.
I love love love the lipstick „Boy“ and I think it would suit you too. I have both skin tints from Chanel, I prefer the lighter (older) one, it looks reaaally fresh on the face and wears well in the heat. I think you would like it more as the new one x
I've watched other YT's use this product as a foundation or a concealer. Some say it's the partner to the Water-Fresh Tint. Either way it's used, this product (and the Water-Fresh) are on my future purchase list. I have a couple of the lacquer (liquid) shadows and a 3in1 Stylo liners. The liquid shadows pack a punch and dry down almost instantly. There is no transferring or stickiness like other products I've experienced. The 3in1 Stylo is very soft, but feels nice on the eye. I put powder shadow over top if wearing as liner as it will fade to nothing (on me). Not sure if I'd purchase it again. I also like that Shoppers carries Chanel. To me, that makes the brand more approachable.
Oooo the lipsticks had me! Could you do a video on your favorite high end lipsticks and then pull out all the dupes of all price ranges? Nudes and fun color lipsticks.
I have oily skin, I find the rose inc. Breaks apart in a 5 hour mark. This one doesn't, it's has more coverage but so weightless. You only need a small amount and build up when needed, rose inc I find you cand build it up.
Julia Adams, another YT'er has oilier skin and has done a video comparing both! I think she likes both of them, but said that the Rose Inc one can be a bit temperamental/finicky. Perhaps you can check her out 🤗!

I LOVE the water touch foundation. I love the way it wears on my maturing skin. A definite repurchase. I also picked up the blush, and while I like it and am glad I have it, I don’t see myself repurchasing for the same reasons you mention.

I have one of their lipsticks and the tan de soleil and I honestly don't use the lipstick toooo much because I have so many lip products I rotate between and I've been into the lip gloss/tinted lip balm look BUT I do remember that it is pretty long wearing. I also love the bronzer and I am still not out even though I've had it for a few years (I do not wear makeup everyday though)
The lip is the only thing that I say is worth that money. Your lips are gorgeous with that color on them! I did ask this question in your curly hair routine video, I ended up buying all the products that you had recommended but they gave me migraine, because of the scent. The foundation and lipsticks is where I would spend my money but I love luxury makeup so I'm a little biased 😂, the blush is gimmicky and the bronzer is not worth it. You look stuning though.

I had two Chanel lipsticks in my collection before. I had to throw out all of my makeup (and a ton of other items that couldn’t be sanitized) when I got a staphylococcal infection from a Homecare worker who didn’t change her gloves after doing wound care. She had sticky prescription antibiotic cream all over her gloves, which she then touched everything in my house. I loved those lipsticks but I didn’t repurchase them. My daughter bought me a Chanel Butter lipstick as a gift for me. It’s wonderful, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself. Otherwise, I find their products are for the “1% crowd”-meaning they are too expensively to purchase, in my opinion, with the exception of a lipstick 💄 splurge.
I feel like you and I have a very similar “vibe” “essence” but I’ve went down a deep dive on Kibbe body types, seasonal color analysis, and style essence. But I feel in the middle of several. Have you ever looked into any of these things as tools to guide your style/makeup choices? I’d love to hear your thoughts and your analysis of what category you fall in for all of these systems!
I haven’t tried that much from Chanel, but what I have I find to be hit or miss. I used to love the cream bronzer before the reformulation and the stick highlighter is really nice. But the liquid lipsticks, not so great - I find they feel crusted and don’t last well.
That’s so funny that you posted this video I just bought the shade 99 Chanel blush I haven’t got it in the mail yet so I can’t tell you if it’s good or not but I have high hopes and for 50 bucks it should be good
@@JennV-B My daughter is shade porcelain, too. My shade is very light so, typically, the shade range of most products is has one that is light enough for me. On the other hand, only a handful of companies have a shade light enough for my daughter. The porcelain shade in some (but, thankfully, not all) cosmetic lines is very “ghostly” looking.
The blush is my holy grail. The only formula that lasts on my combo skin all day. It's $50 USD for reference. I assume the $70 means you're our northern neighbor 😉
It's up to the individual what they spend their money on and I'm happy that it's a well liked product. For me, it's too gimmicky and a rip off for 85dollars. You get so little product for that price. I just couldn't spend that amount on a barely there skin tint even if it gave good results.
