Trying the CHEAPEST NAIL KIT on AMAZON 

I started watching you maybe 7 years ago. You did this pink set with 3D pink bows that had yellow dots. I’m a widower father of 3 daughters. You saved me SO much money learning to do this at home. The amount of money I might’ve lost taking them to hair salons, nail salons, beauty parlors. Whew! When I tell you we would’ve been living in a cardboard box behind a dumpster if I’d spent that kind of money! I’m only exaggerating a little bit. 😂 Instead, I study your tutorials like my life depends on it. I was clumsy at first. But 7 years on, I’m like a pro now. Thanks to your tutorials, I’m able to put my intelligent daughters in private schools. And save up for university x3. So much money saved! Plus, there’s just something about Dad Spa that makes them tell me all their lil secrets. You helped me save money, but most importantly you helped me find a way to build strong bonds with my daughters. They trust me, respect me, converse with me, and seek my advice. Because I built these bonds with them doing their hair and nails. Hours of one-on-one quality time. You helped me find this special way to parent, mentor, listen, and really get to know my daughters as individual people as they grow up. That is something that all fathers struggle to achieve with their girls. Started out being about the money. Now Dad Spa is so much more. I can’t believe I never noticed this before, but I saw you didn’t put the nail alllllll the way up to your cuticle. This probably explains why I always get gel on my skin and then get a ledge when they grow out. 🤦‍♀️I’m going to try your method next time I use full cover nails so I can blend them in the back and hopefully they will look more natural! ❤️

Thank you for testing out all of these kits. I’m a nail tech, but I have been using these gel kits for over 2 years. I absolutely love it. They are affordable, quick, and newbie friendly. I have never had a bad set unless I did something wrong. To give them the thickness I prefer, I use a brush on builder gel. I used to use a rhinestone gel that was fabulous. Either way, I now have a system and do my nails every 3-4 weeks. I’m in a facility where I can’t use acrylic. I really need to start practicing with polygel and step my game up.

I love this brand’s tips! They have a short/medium ballerina type shape (coffin but more thin toward the tip) which is quite hard to find!

That file is an emery board file, they're supposed to be thin 😊 they are great to be able to reach tight side walls and stuff like that, I also like to prep the natural nail with those type of files 🥰

@ 9:17 I don't think it's cheating when you use these kinds of products, in fact I feel you appeal to a lot of us who are not as skilled as you at doing acrylics and polygels. I really love this set💗👍🏼 I feel like it's something I could achieve😊

yeah with the newer stuff dont have to put a base oat on. I use it and my nails hold strong. and I'm a welder by trade so they go through some stuff on ruff days at work.

The nail file is a "Single" use file, that's why it's so thin. But that kit looks good!

LOL I got this set and I actually love it! I used a pink rubber builder base to kind of protect my nails. I didnt get any burning when I used the gel that came with the set. When I tell you every nail was going in a different direction SMH. My fingers were def throwing up g signs. All in all i really loved them. I need to order a clamp to hold it down when it goes in the lamp. They feel really secure also, even with the rubber base I put down first. I messed one up putting it on, super crooked, it was relatively easy to take off. The nail melted in 15 min using acetone, cotton and foil wrapped around my finger. This made doing my nails so easy. I'm so happy you made this tutorial! Thank you Thank you!

I have the same kit! And I’ve been doing my nails for ages with it. They last 4 weeks 🤩 and don’t chip (with the correct prep)

I recently got the Ecbasket kit that’s very similar to this kit and I looove it! The base gel is thicker than this kits and the lamp has an off button which l also love lol So much easier than polygel 😊

about the lamp, beetles upgraded their mini lamps to now have a sensor! game changer!

I have watched your videos for a while and they inspired me to finally try a nail kit! I applied full coverage tips for the first time and was surprised at how tricky it was! It was hard to keep get the ball straight, hard to not flood the cuticle, preventing nail bubbles, cleaning the cuticle before curing, etc. Can you do a video on tips and tricks for doing this for best results!? I bought the gelike gelly nail kit and I have a horrible time keeping nails on. So far the gelike 6 in 1 nail glue with gelly tips are amazing. Totally recommend trying this kit. Love 💕 your work, as per usual. Have you ever done a like beginner shopping guide for those of us wanting to learn. You know all the various nail mediums ( I.e gel, dip, acrylic) what are must haves do we need to learn the various techniques, and what tools are must haves, and even beginners tools for learning to do art/design work.

I have never had acrylic nails in my life, but I love looking at them! You are a delight to watch, so relaxing and interesting! Glad RU-vid randomly recommended this to me lol

As a trained gel tech it’s great that the tips have lasted a couple weeks for you, but even when the instructions omit etching, you should always do it or scrub with primer. Gel has trouble bonding too shiny surfaces no matter what they may be. You may have good luck sometimes and have them last and others they may have breakdowns because of this…. So best too just always prep too make sure the bond is good no matter what.

I did my nails for a wedding real quick after work with the bettles kit and it seems like that kit, even without the tip cutter is better. I had some peeling on a nail and I expected a heat spike from the gel but it never got hot and burned! That alone is worth it.

To help stop sanding bands cut me, I now file the top before I put them on the mandrel. I file the edges of all my nail files for the same reason. I am still learning, but my boo boo rate is dropping dramatically!
