you know mike, i have been a vegitarian for the last year....and i still watch all your videos. someone a few weeks back said to me "fialka for a vegitarian you seriously watch people eat a lot of meat." my response was somewhere along the lines of, just cuz i don't eat meat doesn't mean i can't support my favorite youtubers!!!
..it was what it was..lol...sometimes things like this happem when ur mind is just creating whilst cooking at the same time by trying to bring it up a notch 😁
Mikey has spoken about how he prefers to keep most relationships off camera and private probably at least 3 times that I can remember (and I don't religiously watch his videos) and still people are being strangely weird about some silhouette in a 2 second clip of his video do you all not realise how weird and creepy that is? leave the dude alone lmao
sauteed spam simmered in a mixture of shoyu, water, and sugar is just amazing. it's how a lot of people cook their spam at home for spam musubi :D!! When I tried this earlier, I just microwaved the dumplings without any water or plastic wrap so the wrapper was chewier/drier and was able to be fried easier!!
@@darkforestpyxi yeah every night mike really helped me eat more since I have always struggled with it I love how personal his videos are its like eatting dinner with a friend
Wooow nice innovation and I agree with Jasmin Rice it will be more fried and fluffy........lovin ur Videos been old Subscriber of Strictly Dumpling found this channel now and just love ur Funny talks Mikey😊........love from Chennai India❤
That's a Korean college student diet!! 😂 nice personal touches looks amazing!! You should try also the fried udon cupramen with a whole can of tuna and a triangle gimbap!
That is how it struck me. Young guy, can't cook but is able to heat stuff up. Effectively that's what even Mikey did, except for the eggs. Dumplings heated in micro and broken apart. Spam just browned and chopped Rice is pre cooked Green onions chopped and could really almost get tossed in at anytime Squirt of premade sauces for flavour, mix together and heat through and tada! Oh and how did your idea above turn out?
So excited for the new upload! I’ve been cooking off this channel the most since lockdown. Your recipes are always tasty and simple in a way that I’ve been able to improve on everything else I make. Thanks Mikey!
Hello from Texas Mike, That was a awesome recipe and the video was great. I am always looking forward to your next tasty video. Well stay safe and hungry my brother. Until then dumplings up!!!
Long bk when I came across this in another video I had requested you to chk this out n give ur verdict on it as ur the Dumpling Connoisseur🔥🔥🔥glad you finally got to it🙏😀 best wishes from Kerala, India.
@@Mengjoanne tried it and couldn't justify RU-vid premium. Especially since all I really do is have Mike Chen videos play in the background when I'm at work.
My favorite thing about fried rice is the versatility. There are so many ways to do it that you couldn't even begin to count the ways. I love to let my fried rice crisp at the bottom, it's just too good.
Made this for dinner tonight! I had some pork dumplings and I threw some kimchi in with it, plus the egg, some soy sauce and hot oil. SO good. Thinking about adding Chinese sausage next time around
I did the dan dan noodles and did the Chinese BBQ sauce, Chinese chili crisp, sweet soy sauce and sesame oil on the bottom. Topped with cilantro. Ground beef was on the plain side. Turned out good.
I love ❤️ this recipe but I think you should have fried the dumplings 🥟 and the SPAM with the sugar and the caramelised texture is a great idea ..Amazing video Mikey ..x😍💗
Clap clap thanks for sharing this!!!! I cook my spam this way but now I gotta try the sugah! You can just defrost the dumplings 🥟 and it works great- *that way you can peel the skin off, slice them in slivers with ✂️ and fry the skins first in some oil and use them as a crunchy topping* This method will transform the dish- because it’ll taste differently. I use spam and eggs for this recipe too and Aaaaahmaaaaazing!
Man this almost like what i made when covid lockdowns started and i thought i was crazy. I wanted a beef bowl but didnt have any meat in my fridge or freezer and didnt want to go to the store . So i foraged my freezer and found one bag left of those microwavable bibigo dumplings you can buy at costco and a bag of frozen veggies. I made rice as normal stir fried frozen veggies and add them together, Then i just opened the bag of dumplings and smashed in my bowl caused i wanted the beef filling. Finally i just doused the whole thing in otafuku yakisoba sauce and mixed everything together and called it dinner. Im gonna try your method next time i hit up costco as i bet it will be wicked better than my half assed attempt.
I like to put the dumpling skin in the air fryer until it gets really crispy then crunch it in. Can't remember if I saw that someplace. Also sometimes a mix of dumplings is nice shrimp and pork, or Kimchi and chapche noodles.
All I had was soup dumplings but it still worked. Just a moister rice. I let most of the liquid cook off. All I added was ginger, garlic, onion and white pepper.
Actually just thought of what leftovers I usually have and thats white rice and chop suey and egg rolls. I would take inside of egg rols and chop suey and white rice and add it all in.
