as a korean, if anyone wants to use skincare products that are popular in korea, id recommand trying toner pads! these are very common here and many people including me uses everyday
I DIY my toner pads by tearing a big cotton pad into 2 thinner pieces and soaking them fully :) They have different pads in the toner pads but if you don't want to buy a second product just use your fav toner
yea thats really good also, there are lots of cotton diy pad & container sets in which people can pour their fav toner/essense and use them as their own toner pads. cotton pads in these products are way better and suitable for those purpose:)
the round lab cleanser you tried was aimed more towards normal-oily type skin girlies! If you struggle with dryness and loss of moisture + sensitivity perhaps the soybean nourishing cleanser or mugwort calming cleanser would suit u better! love the content muah
as for creams i find that in korea a lot of moisturizers tend to be of a gel cream texture bc of the climate there. The thicker creams will usually have barrier in the name and focus on sealing in all the hydration from your other steps. I enjoyed the pyunkang yul calming moisture barrier cream and the calming moisture repair balm (thicker one of the two). Theres others I liked but these ones go on sale often and remain very affordable. Other affordable options would be the soonjung 2x barrier cream, and a lot of dry skin girlies swear by the Aestura atobarrier repair line. Higher end ones I've enjoyed are the By Ecom EGF cream, the FEEV hyper-enriching cream, and the dr. jart ceramidin cream

you should try the isntree hyaluronic acid moist cream if you like the gel cream.... its SO good and moisturizing and gives you the glowy/dewy look, especially if you have dry skin I think you'd love it. Also you should try the roundlab birch sunscreen and the skin1004 hyalucica fit sun serum (from a fellow black girl) they both blend in soooo well and are apparently some of the #1 sunscreens in korea rn. The skin1004 is probably better for oily skin or during the hotter months, but both are phenomenal.

Not all vitamin c are created equally. The type of vitamin c they use in formulation matters l ascorbic acid is the most active and purest form of vitamin c ( also the most studied). Keep this in mind when choosing a vitamin c .
its also the harshest though for sensitive skin it might not be well suited (and least sheld stable). nowadays theres many derivatives of vita c that are also very effective and possible better suited for sensitive skin (I personally cannot use l ascorbic often bc of that). THD vitamin c and 3-O Ethyl ascorbyl are also very effective and less irritating
you can try the needly daily toner pads which is great for sensitive textured skin as well as the numbuzin no5+ serum also the goodal sunscreen which is the new number 1 sunscreen in korea and for toner the tonymoly mochi toner which is a high rated milky toner in korea after the laneige one
YESSS I’ve also heard good things about the no5+ serum!! I’ve been trying to get my hands on a bottle since it’s basically niacimide and vitamin c but really good for sensitive skin too
Being someone with sensitive skin as well I have to say that the Goodal serum is the only vit c serum that does not irritate my skin and I find it very moisturizing, but you are right the price is a bit too much for what you get. The numbuzin essence is great texture wise but very fragranced, and therefor a bit irritating. But all the other things you mentioned, def same!
i have dry skin and you should definitely try the rovectin cleanser and illiyoon cream!! I also use the isntree hyaluronic acid toner. Definitely the most hydrating toner on the market💦
Have you tried any panthenol or azulene based products? Panthenol is what I have been seeing recommended by Kbeauty recently for hydration. And most recently mastic gum….
