trying this new tiny build challenge in the sims 4 

Kelsey developed such a back story for these two sims, including their tragic history, including their traits that I now want to see where the story will go. Kelsey's storytelling is always A+++ #wheresmom2023

The mom didn’t die. She just got sick of her preteens and got them their own house in the woods so she could have a lil break. Everyone needs a lil break sometimes. 😂❤

Uuuh this was nice 😊 I'm imagining a boy named Arthur and a teenager named Sam. Arthur likes space and wants to be an astronaut. He is to racional for his age and has trouble talking about feelings (coping mechanism of losing his mother so young). Sam's coping mechanism is her sense of humour, she feels connected to her mum by painting... But she CANNOT paint for her life... Will she be able to fin another way of connecting to her mother?

PRO TIP: if you drag and drop walls instead of building together, ie making the wall then moving it to where it needs to go, you can trick the game into thinking it isn't a room. There wont be a ceiling or foundation, but you can drag the roof over from your actual rooms and its a nice way to include a fenced in backyard or a balcony without losing tiny home status

Omg these poor kids 😭🤣 this is making my writer brain run wild though...like maybe they'd always lived a very secluded life away from society, but one day their mother mysteriously disappears, and she leaves a note telling them to get out of wherever they were before as soon as they can. And perhaps the mother was a runaway teen long ago and is finally going back to confront her family? (And said family don't even know she has kids). Oh and kids could be named after wild flowers, like Violet and Daisy

I do a 1x2 bath that works (toilet and uni or snow escape shower).

It was fun to watch you build! I understood the challenge differently though - to have an extra room for a child and a teen, in addition to a sleeping area for the parents :D but I love this story you built around these two!

Forest and Evan live there. They ran away from an orphanage and found an abandoned cabin in the woods. Everything was built by Forest or found on the street curbs of the neighbors

I think if I were doing that build, and I were going for an old cabin in the woods kind of vibe, I'd just have the door to the washroom on the outside. It's not at all unheard-of for washrooms to be accessed via an outside door in cabins irl.

I love how you made the kid's backstories! I did the same when I tried the tiny home build challenge haha

The kids are Jonquil and Leaf. Jonquil is the artist following in her mother's footsteps and raising her little brother Leaf who's a rambunctious scamp and scout who likes to garden like his dad did. Jonquil's dad is a mystery but there's rumors that it's Johnny Zest (Landgraab).

I loved your recent Swiftie room challenge and it got me thinking. How about doing an Astrology challenge? Every room is a different sign. You'd have 12 rooms: Entryway, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Downstairs Bathroom, Main Bedroom, Main Bathroom, Guest/Child Room, Guest/Child Room's Bathroom, Office & Outside Space. *clears throat* I don’t know why, but it think the kids are named Luna and Forest, don’t question; Luna and Forest were two sisters, they lived in a small but cozy cabin with their beloved mother named Holly,. One day when Luna picked up Forest from school and was painting, a hobby that she inherited from Holly, a beautiful landscape with two oak trees and a wooden bridge across a little river, she received a phone call stating that her mother had tragically gone missing, to save her sister from unbearable grief, Luna told Forest that her mother was traveling, never revealing the dark secret. Days passed and Forest asked Luna everyday before bed when their mother would come back, and every night Luna would reply “Soon, Forest , now go to bed.” As she looked out the balcony door waiting for their mother to come back. (Dun dun duuuuuuuuunnn!)

Roland lives with his little sister Marianne out of town where he goes to college. He takes care of Marianne while his their Mom gets treatment for colon cancer. She's recovering well, but the parents decided to take Marianne back only once the last checkups are done and all the stress of treatment is over 😊

Forest teen brother and Julia child sister. Forest is a senior in highschool who is 18 and afte the recent passing of his mother has been able to have full custody of his little sister while also juggling a paper route on his bike before school and working as a dishwasher on the nearby resort nights and weekends. He brings his sister to work with him in the evenings where she colors remembering how her mama use to paint with her.

The house burned down so the teen sold all their paintings to buy this cabin. They never had a dog, but they want one; dogs can't use ladders so they can't have one while living here. That picture is the only one they have of their mother, who died when they were young.
