That way of mugging happens a lot in London. I was in a pub and a girl on the table next to me got her phone mugged, she only realised after the lady with the paper had been told to leave by the staff, and lost her phone. Never leave your phone (or wallet!) on the table guys!

The mugging thing happened to me too! I was at shake shack in Covent Garden with my friend and one lady started eating our fries (trying to distract us) and another had a piece of paper over my phone and was pulling it backwards, luckily I realised before she took my phone
