what is she supposed to do? change how you play the game? make it cheaper? she cant just change the rules if shes working for it. if you really are that annoyed just ignore it..
I was once on one of these. The woman at the stand immediately warned me, "just so you know, it bounces out very easily. Its not as easy as it seems. You still sure you wanna give it a go?" Honestly she was so sweet. And one of my friends did win something!
Yeah, probably gives one $10 soft toy win every 100 tries. I believe they also have staff walking around with toys to give the impression people are winning.
@@johnnyfearlesszrxthere’s no way their prizes cost that much, they probably just get the cheap ones in bulk and it comes out to like 5 or 10 cents per
The second one is easy because she puts the missed ball in there to stop the bounce for your second throw to make it seem easy, she takes the first made shot out at the end, making it hard both shots
@@excellent5460No, it makes sense. When there isn’t a ball inside, the ball you toss in it will bounce out. When you miss the first one, she puts the ball inside to stop the second one from bouncing so it’ll stay in and make you want to try again. When the first one makes it, she takes it out so the second one will bounce out. Subtle but smart
You’re right. I’ve made these games for people. It is easy to distract people and make it fun while deceiving them. It is sort of sad how much money is made this way.
Don't play it if you're broke then lol. Play a guaranteed prize game, not a skill game. Not everyone has the skill to beat these. I've worked for this company for 7 years and still can't get it in because I toss too hard lol.
That is a great trick, not paying his change immediately and then saying "do you want to go again I already owe you 5 out of the 10" it makes him feel like he's already paid, I was a salesman for years and this is very clever.
I miss being a carney!! you meet and talk to hundreds of ppl daily, every person/groups of people are so different, interesting and some even take the time to strike up a conversation with you during a busy and sometimes overwhelming day! Day vs night time vibes are so drastically different and usually funner people came around in the evening. I mainly miss seeing how happy the little ones would get when they’d win something, and I’d always give the kids a prize even if they didn’t necessarily “win” ☺️☺️
@@sodahey7517 Who usually aren't spending their own money. But that's not even true at all anyways, plenty of adults play these games either just to play or to get a prize for a kid.
@@JohnSmith-xu7evno because they buy the prizes for 35 cents each… so even if the rules were that you can pick 15 prizes in one game they would financially break even.
This is the first time I’m seeing a genuine one of these types of videos that isn’t a parody or making fun of this stuff, and honestly, it deserves every joke lol.
I used to work this game, like all games there fixed for you to loose. But the bottom of the bucket has a bump beveled bottom, the ball hits the bottom bounces out every time or you hit the edge. You need to gain a side spine on the ball so it runs around the bucket not bouncing off the bottom. Cheers
Yeah like tell me the rules so I don’t have to worry about getting scammed out of money.. like she tells it AFTER, like what!!? Sadly most of these games are rigged and a scam 😢
@@Havis_Princess Maybe some are, at some carnivals, not all. My granddaughter won a german shepard stuffed dog. Looked beautiful but when you hold it and squeeze it, it feels 'off', not right for a stuffed animal. Then, when she gets home and one of the seams rips open (not made very well), it was stuffed with actual newspaper, not shredded, just balled up newspaper. Not from here, some foreign language, maybe India? Not sure. It made paper crunching noise when you hugged or squeezed it. Plus, the quality of the 'fur' was extremely poor.
Here's a tip for this game. When throwing, aim for the side of the bucket as it will go to the other side instead of bouncing directly off the back. Also, give the ball some backspin to slow it down.
@TwistedSoul2002 no they aren't. They are all the same. With the volume of people do you actually think that's possible? I gaurentee Tammy here offered him the ball he got in back as his lucky ball. Quit spreading lies lol
When he missed first try she puts ball in to help second one not bounce out. Get you to try again but when he made first try she took ball out to make it harder to win. So heart warming
@@davebrewer3535you can look it up there’s many videos on how carnival games are rigged and they’re cool watch, they basically use physics to show you how they’re rigged, personally I think one of the 2 balls had more bounce then the other so that you’d make one shot and miss the other but then try again because you were so close
@davebrewer3535 I'll explain. The bucket is a very bouncy surface. I'm sure you knew that. The reason he kept getting the 2nd one in and not the 1st is because when he missed the 1st ball, she put that ball back in the bucket, which absorbs the shock from the 2nd ball and helps it stay in. This gave the impression that the game is easy. Notice that when he finally gets the first one in she immediately removes the ball, making the 2nd one much harder to do. Can it be won, yes. But they know all the tricks to make it difficult while appearing easy.
It's not rigged. It's designed to be hard so they can make money. Just like any other business. The concept is to make money while providing a service. If they made it easy to win, then where is the fun in that? If they made it is easy to win. Then they would have to charge you 10 times the price just so they could break even. You aren't paying for the toy. You are paying to play.
They're the same. It's the tilt on the bucket. If you throw it lightly and put some backspin on it, you'll get it every time. On a side note, nearly every game at these carnivals with a ball involved, the trick is backspin.
Same exact balls. You have to put backspin on them. But no one has mentioned the big scam part. It's easier to make a ball when there's a ball already in there. After he misses the first ball, she sets that missed ball in the bucket while he throws the second one. It's now easier, so he makes the second one and gets all happy that it can be done. You can see after the 2nd set of balls he throws, she removes 2 balls, even though he only made the 2nd one. Then watch his final attempts. He makes the first ball. She pulled out that ball to make the second one harder.
I remember I just came out of the hospital from having leukemia I went to a carnival same game I was so weak I barely hit the edge and made them both so my dad took me to all of them around the carnival until they told us we can’t play no more I won 5 times my dad was furious because they stop us from playing that’s my favorite memory
This is why I love living in my small town. At our carnival all the kids get a prize just for playing. You have to win to get the big one, but usually they'll give you the big one if you play a few times. They're probably so lax with it because the carnival is hosted by the VFD 🤣
I spent like $100 playing this game many years ago trying to win a PS4 Pro. You had to get 3 balls in. They were the exact same kind. The best I could get was 2, but never the 3rd.
So your telling me when you go to the carnival you don’t know that the tickets are over priced and for the same toy they give you cost 20 or less at the store. 😂😂😂 I bet your the same person that will spend 200 dollars on some Jordan’s that cost 20 dollars to make but wanna judge a book by it’s cover. Your hating on the wrong person when my sister started she worked for free she don’t do this for money when she said she likes seeing kids happy. She really does she is always trying to make people laugh it’s the one thing she knows she can do. Some times you have to show compassion cause you never know what that person is going through. She is is an amazing person despite her disability she don’t let that stop her. To you this job is shit but to her it’s the one thing that gives her a since of accomplishment it gives her normality. Which may mean nothing to you but is everything to her.
To bad you guys don’t know her cause if you did you would know that she is the kindest women you could ever meet. And despite her disability she never complains never cry’s. Working at the carnival gives her purpose. Every person has the choice on if they wanna spend their money. Everyone that goes to the carnival knows what they are getting. Instead of throwing shots maybe try not to judge a book by it’s cover. This women has inspired me my entire life and I couldn’t be more prouder of my sister. ❤❤❤ this guy who put my sister in his video made my sisters day. And I thank him for that cause she don’t get moments this.
She may well be the kindest lady but the job she does is not honourable, it's a scam stall. Yes people have a choice to pay, just like all other scams.
@@salmonellachickenbreastroastedeither the weight of the balls are different or someone is changing something behind the bucket thats why when he gets one in, she shouts out to notify the staff and thats why she hits the ball on the bucket twice
@@salmonellachickenbreastroastedbasically every carnival game is designed to be mathematically improbable to win. Different weighing balls, so you don't get a feel for the right throw. The angle of the bucket being the most bouncy possible. Or the nice lady not telling the customer that they need to get both balls in(wich is sooo scummy, i really hate her just from those few seconds😡) Those are just examples but basically every single one of those carnival games is designed with math and physics to have the least probable winning chance while being almost, but not quite, impossible. So the person behind the counter could be Jesus Christ himself... but they would still be be f***ing over little kids at what's basically a legal child-casino...💁♂️
Running a little collection 😅. I was running a bushel basket until they invented the tubs. Slidel!! Hit the slider for the big one!! Double up and catch up.. you win all the money back and the big one!! Ahh yes the memories of running a joint.
