I thought it was funny the max meals in a week was 18 like would you not be allowed breakfast three days? 🤔 Not that you have to use Factor for every meal but I assumed they would let you wanted
This concept, weirdly enough, reminds me of iCarlys apartment - despite not looking like it at all! But the whole thing about weird and sort of ugly furniture and decorations immediately makes me think of the apartment from iCarly. I find it quite funny actually
hey syd, i don't know if your thinking about starting a let's play, but i'd love to see you play a legacy like not so berry, whimsy stories, etc. i’d be so cool to see you play them !!
i was so surprised to hear that people don't like the realm of magic items! i loveee art nouveau so it's one of my favorite packs lol (even though the execution could have been better)
Those weird windows with the holes in them actually look really cool in a nightclub build, as like a feature window with some cool colored lighting around it.
i'm a huge fan of like- maximalism and "tacky" novelty furniture with loud colors and designs, so the things that twitter thought was ugly i couldn't help but think were so fun and cute lol xD
The divorced dad energy emanating from this...I LOVE it! It reminds me of those ridiculous Zillow Gone Wild posts on Instagram or Reddit, which, I don't know if you've heard of it, Syd, but the houses that get posted there are so bad that they're good, I would love a video where you go there and try and recreate the insanity of some of them I think you'd do an amazing job!!!
The bathroom sink you used is one i like to use as a "fountain" in places like parks and the school so it looks more realistic to fountains to drink from because it such a weird shape for an actual sink. Lol
I actually love how it turned out, it totally gives of that vibe like it belongs to a really creative artist sim that’s into abstract modern art! Also the downstairs bathroom is so nice and bubbly 🫧
you what's funny - I remember when we used to use this base game items and we were like it's cute, everybody used it. and also from early game backs (till the end of 2015), we loved it
The realm of magic doors being inspirated by Brussels art nouveau feels correct! 🥰 with famous architect Victor Horta leaving it’s stamp across the city… maybe you could do a build inspired by him? 👀👀👀
@@helloinspiration Thank you so much!! I just looked and saw the 2 she had built a couple years ago 😊 it would be funny to see her build the one she thinks looks like a hospital though lol. Or have them all on one lot as tiny homes. Thank you again!!
Syd I love your videos! You should totally do one where you spin a wheel with all of the different activities you can do for clubs. Spin it three times, and those are the club activities you have to add for a club in the sims 4. You then have to create the club a clubhouse based on their activities and things they do! Feel like it could be unique and it would be fun naming them
Leave to Syd to pull together a Kim Possible looking house with the community's least favorite objects and make it look so so cool! 20:09: I think it would have been cool if she put the Sabbac card game table, like the Sim who made the items has a Star Wars based card game night with their club members.
youre my absolute safeplace atm when i watch your videos i forget everything. im not thinking. im just fine. idk how to thank you for literally saving me thank you syd
I actually use that weird leather couch a lot. 😂 I bb.moveobjects on rocks into the space underneath to make it look like it was built onto rocks. Or I'll put a log in it. A fun garden bench ❤
I don't know how to explain this... but the living room took me back to like, being a kid and watching Power Rangers. Something about it makes me think of Power Rangers, and I can't put my finger on what exactly it is.
Ok but…. This house is actually really good! Like, once you got a theme going, everything just made sense. I actually like this build. Course I like the kids rug and skull rug a lot tho
Some of the weird/ugly itens I do like 'cause they are unique and quite fun looking, but also for my brain to create something cool with them is sooo hard!! Syd is theee royalty of making things look sooo nice❤
Some of the ugly items I actually like: - The big windows that look like rocks. I think it can look very cool in a hip or cottage setting - The living room rug - The word bubble mirror is great in a pop art bathroom - The rec center bookshelves are cool in a gamer room bc they look like Playstation symbols - The wallpaper in the kids room is cool for an accent wall - In the kids room I also like the egg beds, the lil couch, and the dog toy box - The circle bathroom wallpaper I’ve seen look cool in kids’ rooms - The main bedroom wallpaper can be cool in a warehouse-style build - The main bedroom sconces are just normal that one was cruel 😢 - I also like the flowers in the main bedroom, the cherry blossom looking ones This video was fun to watch, thanks Syd! Even though I like some of the items you can see they mostly only work in specific styles 😅
I was wondering if you could make a house however you want with whatever style you want but without any kits or cc but with all the packs? Sorry if this is conducting btw ALSO YOUR THE BESTTTTTTTTTTT
A twist on this theme could be go thru every single pack/kit and pick your least favorite item from each and then try and make the house look good - so not everything has to be something you hate - you just need to make them all work together. Or you could go the other direction - your favorite item from every pack/kit and try and make the clash of styles work somehow.
You should do couples themed houses! Each sim has there own room (mancave sort of thing) you choose the couples by cupid (you) matching your favorite tv/movie/cartoon characters from different shows, have rooms unique to them and the common spaces would be their mixed aesthetics :)
the beginning was okay but at some point i just started to say wtf out loud and to look disgusted, my god that main bedroom killed me inside ahhaha i could never
Syd, i usually like all of your builds, but girl will this house haunt me in my dreams😭😭i didn't even realize just how ugly sims 4 build items can get. but now i do, so thanks for opening my eyes and showing me the truth!!
Man, something about that kitchen is just really giving me Sims 3 vibes. Like, Into the Future specifically, but also just kinda general Sims 3 vibes? I... I don't know how to feel about it, 'cause it's funky and fun?
Oh my gosh, I just thought of it! Video idea - turning in game doll houses into actual houses. Like that modern doll house could look so cool. Please at least consider it! Love this video btw. You're so freakin talented when it comes to building it's insane. I'm definitely more of a gameplay gal
It's giving 'a business closed down so this family used their junk to build their own house (and they're definitely planning an uprising)' and I love it 😂
You are RIDICULOUSLY creative!! As a sims player and especially a builder, this is so awesome that you can make something out of the most random and weird items in the game
Challenge idea: build a house where you decorate the exterior like it’s an interior, and all the interior rooms are decorated like the exterior of a house (landscaping and all!)
Oh, Kristopher is certainly Marcus's husband in this reality! I was totally going to give an opinion on something completely different but I got distracted by the werewolf family and forgot it...
After watching this, I noticed a pattern: Syd doesn't seem to like geometric shapes in darker colours. At least, a lot of the items used in this video ended up being geometric shapes in dark colours. 😆 I think it depends on how you use an item, on whether or not it will look good. Like the bed from High School Years with the white wire bed frame that looks like macrame - I personally can't stand that bed, but Syd always makes it look nice when she uses it (and she uses it a lot).
It's giving me aliens who've moved to earth trying to blend in the 50's/60's. They love that humans are obsessed with space and they try to lean into the space age atomic design aesthetic.
my least favorite plant is the authority, the base is so hideous as well as the plant, it just makes me so mad to look at it. but i think it’s funny because you put the get to work plant in here and that is my all time favorite plant😂
Hey! I just wanted to say that I really love your videos, seeing them helps me a lot when I’m down, so thank you for your work, I wish you good things in life❤️❤️
7:47 That’s suppose to be like the little clowns you knock down in the ball throwing game at arcades or carnivals. Only instead of a clown it’s an alien.
hey syd, i just wanted to say i love your videos they are so calming to watch, and i love how you don't say bad things about even the worst packs ( journey to batu )
Honestly I think those couches are the only things in my first pet stuff that are somewhat decent(depending on the swatch) used the white swatch to make a cute entrance hall for my sims, it gave the hall a more interesting look.
I like the eclectic mad scientist vibe of this house, maybe the story is an alien and their child and the parent wants to takeover the world but the child loves balloons and animals and doesn't want to 😄
Is it bad I actually love this house? Like it looks like if your crazy art teacher married a mad scientist and moved to the middle of nowhere to get up to no good 😭
Honestly i hated all the items when i do my game plays but after seeing you tie it all together im like okayyyyyy yasssss i can use this build 🥰🥰🥰 syd you never fail to disappoint
With having built this on the lot the werewolves are on. The dog toy bin feels like a call to the fact that they would play with the dog toys more than the kids toys.
hey syd! i would love to see a video where you critique viewers builds! we could all share them in the gallery under a hashtag. i really want to improve my builds and would love some feedback!!
That mirror in the bedroom that sits so high on the wall, I figured out I think is meant for sitting above sinks or dressers. I randomly tried it when I was building and it fit perfectly . It gives a whole new look to the decor of the room. 😁
