Love this and its so funny how well it spells out the oft repeated phrase that 100 yrs is a long time to an American but to an European 100 miles is a long distance. London to Belfast is what a quick 2 day trip with only a 9-10 hr ish ferry/car drive. Its just at that tipping point of maybe fly yet there is a castle older than our ( US) country lol I wonder why road trips of just driving around for 5,6,7 days or even less seem so uncommon in Europe. Road Trips are such s huge huge component of late teen and 20’s life in US with the exception of the poverty class.
