Kerala is highly literate, educated and stuff. But our biggest problem is that we demotivate anyone who tries something new. You have to seek discomfort because anything too easy will stagnate you.

Being a tamilian, this video made a lot of sense, since we can understand Malayalam, and the actual condition of people who are not aware of their mother tongue, definitely need motivation...And it is absolutely amazing to see you talk in such diversified tone, a mix of Hindi, English and Malayalam. With the best part being, bakshanam evadiya.... 🤣🤣 Missed your videos. Thank you for this amazing one after months!!!

I'm in Kerala now (was in Chennai before) and I couldn't stop but love the observations you've made. Grandmother, uncle, alcohol, levels of respect and the mundu. Phew that's some amazing work. You said "Thankalu", "Ningalu", and then I was expecting that you would say simply "Nee". "Neeyoru parama naariyaada pattee". God, I laughed so much at that line that I had to pause the video so that I won't miss the rest while I laugh. Kudos to you, brother. I don't know why anyone would find this insulting in any way. You are one of the best comics in India. Today I was talking to my best friend who has watched your videos, but he didn't know that you have a Malayali background. Anyway, I just want to say as a US-born Malayali with old-school parents who were constantly frustrated because I don’t have a perfect grasp of their mother tongue, I empathize with you. The main reason why I didn’t make the effort to get any better is because my relatives would constantly make fun of my American accent or mispronunciation of words. If I ever tried to mock their attempts at English when they immigrated to the US, I would be demonized in a heartbeat! But when I complain about being mocked, it’s because I’m a spoiled western brat? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Oh well. Much love to you and I appreciate your effort and your stand-up style. I lived in Kerala for an year...and my office colleagues taught me Malayalam... important words and verbs and everything...it was such a sweet gesture❤️❤️....and the lessons used to be so funny and entertaining.😂😂.... .Thanks to them i know surviving Malayalam now although i don't live there anymore......the most difficult language i have had to deal with in my life btw...

Hi Kenny, I know it's been a year but you just spoke my mind. I can say that you are better than me in speaking malayalam. Loved it. Takes a lot of guts to perform in which you are in never ending learning stage. My family speaks it on a day to day basis, I have no clue why mine is still broken. Definitely want to see more like this in future.

I am not a Malayali. But I have some relatives who are Malayalis, or are staying in Kerala. And I heard that, generally, Malayalam jokes are extremely hilarous. And Malayalam comedians have excellent sense of humour.
