I think socializing is built into our nature as a survival skill. I do agree that being surrounded by your social circle too much makes people insecure when they are out of that circle. You are correct. You must have seen my videos. I am unsecured, I have fallen over...

Funny thing is, there was a guy at the college I went to who seriously did stuff like this, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a prank. I think it was just his way of socializing with people. Every morning at breakfast we would see him sit with a different group of people (sometimes with us). He would just join in the conversation like it was no big deal, and sometimes he would started arguing with them. We referred to him as "Random Breakfast Dude." Man, sometimes I really miss college.

The person you play the prank on will be so confused. I didn't make this prank up. Elderly people come up to me in the store several times a month and do this exact thing to me...LOL. I have no idea why they do; but, I think it's hilarious! My kids even made a parody video where they are dressed up like old people and they are acting this out...LOL.

Suggestion: 1) get your camera man to say hi to someone and get their name. 2) now you go up to them, knowing their name, and fit in with them.

Okay, I got a prank for you. Go up to random people in the grocery store and ask them to help you do your shopping. Ask them for to read the label and nutritional facts to you. They'll do it because they'll think you have bad vision. Then start reading the nutritional labels of other similar products to them. Ten insist that they pick the one you sould buy. When the pick, put the opposite thing in the basket. Then thank them for their help, hug them, and follow them arround the store..LOL...
