I’m excited to try and fix a component level motherboard issue on a Toshiba Satellite P55w. The laptop has no power and it looks like one of the components is bad. This is part one of hopefully a two part video. Watch the video and see if you can help me fix it for part 2!

What happened with this repair? I have a Toshiba p50-a and seem to have the exact same fault with the second MOSFET and am hoping to try repair it..

Unfortunately it went no where. There's a channel called electronics repair school. He has a lot of videos with similar faults. Might be of some help

I have a similar problem with my p55. The keyboard backlight comes on, but no power to the mb. Frustrating. Any idea where schematics can be purchased?
