I flew my mum back to her home on the Kent Coast, landing at the bucolic farm strip, Pent Farm. However even though I had flown in before, this time it was more difficult. As when I left Buckinghamshire the wind was from the West, I approached to land into Wind on runway 25. This is not the easiest approach, as there is a steep hill to the East and high voltage pylons, which makes it difficult to manage height and speed on final approach. I had already tried once, touched down and then decided I didn't have enough runway left to stop, and so took off again. This video picks up after that with a second attempt at 25 followed by a realisation that the wind is actually coming from the South and so landing from the opposite direction on 07 would be possible and potentially easier. And this is how it turned out to be.
