jake, i just downloaded the 98/99 database for fm24 from the mad scientist. its insane. Ronaldinho is 18 at gremio, aimar and saviola are at river plate, Maradona is a free agent, gazza is at boro. its amazing. that would be a great save. remember how good Parma was. Buffon is 20. just an idea mate. they have all the retro kits and logos too. i took over at Juventus. my attacking 3 is Henry Del Piero and Inzaghi up front. Zidane and Edgar Davids in the middle.

Been thinking of doing a Wednesday save since last FM. Didn't realize they were in such bad shape, so you've prompted me to start my own finally. As for another rebuild, how about ASSE in France, a former big side that was relegated out of Ligue 1 a couple of seasons back. Another fun French team is Sochaux, who have one of the best youth setups in the game, but were forcibly relegated to the 3rd tier last year due to financial problems.

Think its time for some: St Pauli, HSV, Millwall, Swansea, Rosenborg, IFK Goteborg, Brondby, Toulouse, Leeds, Southampton, Derby, Blackburn, Union Berlin, Paris FC (PSG little brother), Getafe, Villarreal. Celta Vigo, deportivo la coruna, Betis, kilmarnock action. Favourite of the bunch: Brondby (supporting)

Would love to see a Wigan Athletic rebuild. Dropping out of the premier league down to league one mostly due to financial trouble is heartbreaking for my hometown club. They even start this year's FM with -10 points due to the administration and continued financial issues

Aris team from Greece could be challenging to build actually , it is one of the most historical teams in greece which faces a lot of difficulties due to being relegated to the second category some years prior (now its back to the top category ofc) . Aris have no second team to support young greek players nor does have great training and youth facilities . The main squad has some good value players for the greek league but if you manage to go through European cups the first thing youll notice is the absence of home grown players. All im saying is it could be a fun project to run.

Jake, just a suggestion: can you set different tactic when rebuilding a team? I feel like gegenpress is just the strongest tactic. Maybe you can try rebuilding a club with direct counter attacking tactic instead of gegenpress. Thanks!

@@JakeCooperFM Never in Premier League, needs for a win even in FM! If you want a good story, go to Panathinaikos F.C., Historic Greek team struggling at least 10-15 years once played in Champions League Final! That would be a great challenge.
