Think if u say owned a restaurant - u now have to pay your minimum wage workers more - even if u have a small restaurant & say 20 min wage workers - that's thousands & thousands of dollars every week more u have to pay. Then you now also have to pay your not minimum wage workers more (your cooks , workers who have been there for years ect) because obviously u can't expect them to be making the same as your min wage workers & a cook who has 5+ years experience & worked for u for years the same as an employee who just started 2 mo ago. So now u have to raise their pay as well = So that's MORE thousands & thousands of dollars just in pay checks alone every week you are having to pay out / loosing now. & Don't forget - inflation is happening = so already everything is already costing u more - your produce , buns, your suppliers , meats ect ect. So 🚩 NOW u as the restaurant owner now have to raise your menu prices to stay afloat & to stay open & to keep all these people employed. = Permanent inflation. 🚩. *edit* No I don't own a restaurant. I simply have some common sense & can see how democratic ideas such as always shouting "increase the minimum wage!" Is only a tactic for people to be cheering for our own demise & to only increase inflation.
