Trying to Weld for the First Time! 

Good work pal, can never go wrong learning a valuable new skill.

My first welds with my everlast were horrible. I used to get startled just from the initial arc. Practice makes perfect.

Hard to see from the video but looks like you need a bit more heat in the weld mate. Don't give up on it it's a great skill to have!

You never explained why fluxcore wire welding (gasless mig welding) was considered not that great.
