Today we take a look at the Ante Rebellum mod for Hearts of Iron 4 and attempt to survive as Germany. It's shaping up to be a great mod so far - extremely playable for it's first build.

Konrad Adenauer was the Chancellor of Germany from 1949 to 1963, literally every German knows him.

He's also in the base HOI4 as the leader of Democratic Germany, not to mention just generally being one of the most prominent Cold War politicians in Western Europe. He's definitely not just a "known only to Germans" kind of figure.

The Flood Challenge: In the Modern Day Mod play as your choice of Pacific Island Nation and attempt to annex all nations that touch the Pacific or have an Island. Other Pacific Island nations, Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, The Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan, Russia, America, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the South American countries that touch the Pacific. This can include the European nations that still own islands in the Pacific for extra challenge. You can use any ideology you want and can join factions or make your own.

The leader of Germany Konrad Adenauer was the 1st "Bundeskanzler" of west Germany 1949 to 1963. Bundeskanzler means chancellor Nice Video Greetings from Germany

Master Mind He never was president, he was Germany's first chancellor, which is actually quite a significant difference. He was "Bundeskanzler" not "Bundespräsident". First president was Theodor Heuss! ^^ Greetings :)

Play as Portugal and try to be the only European nation with sea acces. You are not allowed to annex land wich is not bordering the sea and you can use the Road to 56.

Konrad Adenauer is, in the base game, the man in charge if Germany goes democratic. He was in real life the first chancellor of Germany after World War II. Odd that they decided to put him as the leader of Imperial Germany.

This was actually an excellent game kinda like a reverse Barbarossa where Germany was stacked and pushed back far but was able to defend and come back stopping the Soviet’s then conquering it.

Challenge! Name: Heil... der Kaiser?! Objective(s): As Germany in modern day, form the European Union with the most nations possible. Become monarchist, and puppet every single remaining country in the world. You cannot take any states or provinces unless they were gained by unification into the EU. You must use cavalry military police units to quell rebellion or revolt. You can only use missile nuclear weapons, if you want to use them at all. You must make Sweden fully civilian factories and infrastructure. IKEA furniture is important, after all. Oh, and no joining factions. You must create your own, with only puppets.

The alternative history of these mods is often very unbeliavable. Like... famously the reason why Germany started WW1 is because they were worried about Russia being an emergent power. But... why would they be worried about that if Russia had already broken up and been in a state of disrepair? So logically if the alternative history of Russia breaking up after the Russo-Japanese war happened, then it's pretty much guaranteed that WW1 wouldn't have happened
