I’ve been using Trinny London since it launched. Have dozens of her products. My absolute favourite that I’ll never be without is BFF. I wear medium in summer and light-medium in winter. So quick and easy and lightweight. I’m not a huge fan of miracle blur. People seem to love it or meh. I love how buildable the colours are in all the lip, eye and cheek ranges from a light wash to more intense. Favourite colours are Sacha and Katinka. I’ve been disappointed with the eyetallics. They dry out too quickly and they are the only options for a blue or a green at the moment. The lash to brow product surprised me. I rarely use mascara but I keep on buying it because I love the brow product. I like rebalance or destress when I want more coverage. I like just a touch a lot. I don’t tend to reach for the eye concealer but I’ve never been much of an eye concealer person. I’ve maybe bought two previously in 40 plus years of wearing makeup. The highlighters are very pretty. The contour is great. I don’t use the bronzer much but it’s the first bronzer I’ve ever bought so half the time i just forget I have it. Love all the sheer shimmers. I think I’ve only got one or two non Trinny makeup products left. Trinny has completely colonised my bathroom. I’m now falling in love with the skincare range. The enzyme balm cleanser is great for a double cleanse. The bounce back moisturiser is excellent. I’ve just started the tiptoe in exfoliant. Waiting for my serums to arrive. Re the accessories I can recommend the mirror and the new brushes. The tkit brush is a waste of money. It will break. They will replace it and then it will break again. They did improve the magnets between version 1 and 2 but the plastic stills breaks. Re the jubilee and Atlantic bags I’ve had issues with them coming apart. Could just be the weather in Australia is so hot that the glue couldn’t hold up to conditions. Once again they are great about replacing things but I’d prefer they just worked. I’m getting the Chelsea bag as a gift with purchase so I’m really hopeful it will be problem free.
I'm 71, luckily no wrinkles, always looked after my skin, just lines from nose to mouth, i bought the under eye concealer, because a lot of them are to thick and sink in the lines under your eyes, really impressed wouldn't be without, then eyeshadow, because powder takes so long to blend, very good, I'm going to purchase more, because it's so quick to do 👏👍❣️🌈
I put miracle blur on right at the end of my makeup over powder and press it into any open pores and that seems to work better than putting it on first. Great vlog, thanks x
I’ve just started using Trinny products this video was one of the first I watched! Keen to try out some different eye colours and grow bolder with the lippies, but I’m so impressed how easy everything is and how natural the finish is even with a bold lip. I don’t feel like I’ve got makeup on at all. Definitely more practice needed though!
I use Trinny products every day. I went to Trinny London Studios last January before lockdown for a make over and have used her products ever since. Eaay to use lasts all day. You are right quite expensive but worth it. Natural look especially for a more mature skin
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment! I've really been enjoying my products and have been reaching for them a lot more than I thought I would! So easy to use! xx
HI Emma! 💕 How are you doing? I hope this comment finds you in good health, happy in life & abundantly prosperous! My name is Victoria Ann McCurdy! I live here in the States! A small town called Morgan Hill in CA! Located in the South San Fran Bay Area! I just love your channel! When I first came across your channel, there was a facial device that you had finally decided to try in your video! I left a message in the comment section for you, pleading with you to not give up on using it! 😉 I did notice an actual improvement in your jawline as well as a great improvement in your complexion! You are very blessed with such a lovely complexion! In your video that I watched today, the make up by Trinny London you had purchased looked so lovely on you! The store assistant who had helped you at Trinny London, definitely knew her job! She knew exactly the colors and shades that were going to compliment you! It literally took you no time at all to apply your make-up! It looked amazing! Have you been using the facial device? Or Have you returned the device back to HSN? 😉 I have been doing a great deal of meditation as well as doing some sole searching on exactly what topics/forum I finally have come up with to start my own RU-vid channel! So now it all begins! The research, The prep work & the homework! My first video will be ready just before Halloween, possibly sooner, next month October! WISH ME LUCK! 🍀🍀🍀
I discovered Trinny about 8 months ago and LOVE her products. I'm 61 and like the hydrating feel and the fact that it seems to "set" itself very quickly. No need for powders. Unfortunately it's like getting a box of crayons - I want every color! I hadn't really thought about Pia in Lip2Cheek, but after seeing it on you I want to try it. I have to be careful though, because some colors tend to turn orangey on my skin.
Like you I keep seeing the adverts. I have lost 60lb since lockdown and needed to update my make up style. With weight loss comes wrinkles so I thought I would try the miracle blur. Ordered a lip colour and eye colour and bb cream. Spent more than I normally would have but now I have seen your review I am glad I did. You have a new subscribers I like your style xx
Bought the BFF and miracle blur, didn’t rate the BFF the miracle blur just looked smeared and caked no matter how little I put on. Went again for the de-stress, game changer for me. Sublime on my skin, good coverage and skin has improved. Loving it
BFF de stress is a have to have! Love a bit of miracle blur, vision is a go to, dawn, moon, lady j, wiggs... I can’t wait for her to bring out a mascara!
I’ve just come across your vlogs and love this. The make up looks so fresh and you’ve shown how easy it goes on. It was my birthday yesterday and got treated to my first purchases of Trinny at the Fenwick store and staff were great and like you said no pressured sale and so much advice xx
Happy happy birthday! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment! Which products did you pick up? Xs
@@EmmaRumble1 just watching some of your other blogs too. Ahh thank you. Had a great time. Mostly same as yourself, I’d completed the check on line and it advised Alice too, but thought it was a bit light for me but actually suits my skintone really well. I purchased the BFF serum, BFF cream, BFF eye serum, miracle blur which for my skin is fab. I’m 51 now and have used No7 products for about 30 years 😳. I also got some eye2eye and lip2cheek in various colours: mystery, veebee, justice and a lip gloss in Bella. X
Hi Emma some of this looked pretty on the skin and as i'm very dry I love cream based makeup. In fact I have completely stopped using powder blushes etc, as I love the liquids/creams so much. My issue is the 12 shades of complexion products tbh - that's like an affordable brand shade range (not something a more luxury brand should have). In todays very multicultural world 12 shades is pretty poor, as even some much more affordable brands have forty plus shades (NYX and Revolution for example). I do like the look of the undereye concealer, but way up here in Scotland I won't be able to test whether the lightest shade will be light enough and shade matching online for me is impossible. Most brands don't make a pale enough shade for me, so this one is probably a no. The cream eyeshadows are perhaps where my interest lies for this brand, as £18 isn't too much of an ouch price point. Eyeshadows are also easier to pick shades online than complexion products. I am glad you're mostly happy with your purchases though (after spending the bulk of £180 on them). Unrelated to this video I did treat myself to a new palette I have had on my wishlist for ages - the viseart violette entendu. I'm excited to receive it and play with that for some purple themed eye looks (i love purple lol). Best wishes.
Absolutely agree on the 12 shades, that such a poor selection and really makes it difficult for anyone to get a great match. The concealer is nice but I've found that its smudging my mascara, and none of my other concealers do that, even when I set it with powder, the hydration is almost a touch too much! How is your Viseart palette? xxx
Love the bff cream spf 30 also the eye 2 eyes brilliant stay on all day no touching up beautiful Brought veebee lip umm not keen drying not long lasting love miracle blur expensive but fabulous More offers Trinny please
I made my own version, I apply mascara to my lips, rouge to my eyelashes, foundation is used as toothpaste, lipstick becomes foundation and I use toothpaste to style my hair. The final result is _quite_ remarkable!
Sorry for the late reply, wear was nice, wasn’t intense super long lasting BUT it didn’t break up or go patchy. Eye shades aren’t super long lasting either but they didn’t crease or smudge x
This Trinny London stuff looks like a good match for my makeup style, which is more minimalist. I'm very keen to try this stuff. The price is a bit off putting though, especially as I'll be paying in Canadian dollars.
I bought BFF serum, cream eye shadow, and lips to cheeks cream. I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed in it. I suppose I should have bought something with more coverage but then I usually only wear a tinted moisturizer or light foundation. It was so expensive especially when considering I paid in US dollars (slightly cheaper than paying in pounds). There was also a snip over $30 in duty and courier fees. (I'm in Canada.) I was excited to get these products and they weren't worth the price.
I’m sorry they didn’t work out for you, that’s super expensive when you add the import taxes on top. I like mixing the BFF in with other foundations so maybe try that!
@@EmmaRumble1 Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try. I saw today that they've started taking payment in Canadian dollars and including duties, so that's good for other Canadians.
I just got my first order and I got this same serum foundation de-stress (I know they released a mate version meanwhile, but my skin being dry, I stuk with the first formula. I also got that Just a Touch product! A couple fo eyeshadows a lip/ Cheek procuct, the SPF primers and a couple of other things to try. I still haven't opened my parcel yet! Can't wait to play with the products! I am really excited. And your first impressions video got me more excited! :D Thank yoi for sharing!
Amazing 👏....your complexion looks divine....I have been using Trinny London products since she started...but I cringe when I see people using a brush or beauty blender to apply the face products.....designed for fingers to massage in....the left hand side of your face looked much nicer than the right...which I think proves the point....the whole of your make up looked radiant and natural.....BW....Jane North Wales UK..... PS...also using a brush or beauty blender will use up the products much faster....
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!! I've been using my fingers to apply everything since I made this and I much prefer the finish!!! xox
I agree with the pricing on these - I live in the US and the prices are double because of shipping costs; I don't mind paying more if it's truly quality and actually going to help my skin... I'm intrigued by her products and I've been really thinking about splurging and getting some of her products... I'm still not sure but you made it look fun and easy.. I work 40 hour weeks and almost never have time nor energy to do much; this speaks to me for the ease of use and quick blend-ability it provides
B Luv2- I am enjoying the eye shadows and lip colours for travelling. Am tired of broken powder palettes - Trinny’s eye colours are a godsend. Am looking to get help with colours then buy more at the Melbourne Trinny pop up. Seeing it in person should really help.
I literally got my first Trinny London order this morning and have come across your video whilst looking for people using the products. I’m really enjoying my little selection so far. Are you still enjoying yours? Have you added any more new products?? I need some eye to eye and want the contour too. I was drawn to these products because I practically gave makeup up during lockdown and once I got back to my makeup I really disliked wearing it and I just think I needed an overhaul. I saw Trinny talking about just this and decided to give some of her things a try. Think I’m a convert.
I still really loving my products and actually reaching for them and using them a lot more than I thought, especially when I’m in a hurry because they’re just so quick and easy to use! I haven’t bought anything else yet but I definitely would! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment xxx
Same here. I love BBF but miracle blur did nothing for me. Kept piling into little balls on my face. Didn't like it and wouldn't bother buying it again but BBF is on repeat purchase. I love it.
I used Tarte Shape Tape for the first time a few days ago. It was like putting a *mask* under my eyes. It was so thick it was hard to blend. I hated it. Actually wondered why everyone kept talking about it. Totally not worth the money. It's a gimmick, if you ask me. Trying to redefine concealer as "shape tape" is just silly.
Loves this review. I’ve already tried some eye shades. I bought the serum recently but not tried yet. Interested in trying the under eye thin next. Love your reviews as always. Could you tell me the nail polish your wearing please? Noticed it in your last video too and meant to ask then! xx
You used masses of the products especially the BBF de-stress. Trinny only uses one or 2 pumps. The result made it look really thick on your skin. Less is more IMO. Good review especially as you weren't sponsored. Your skin is amazing. Can't believe you are in your forties, you look 10 years younger.
Ahhh thank you so much. And you’re right, I was a bit heavy handed! I definitely use less product now. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment xo
Thank you for the review. Was considering booking a consultation, but I'm a bit disappointed to hear that they mismatched you on the BFF; would expect a bit more of a professional service.
