I laughed so hard at Tom chewing really fast when he first ate it than his chewing got slower and slowed until he was like "Nope, no way!" /spits it out! LMAO
this is the standard reaction of everyone trying vegan "cheese" for the first time... you go in thinking "if it's a product they sell that many kinds of, it has to be good...right?" No. no it's not.
@@Poweroftouchnah ..vegan food (if you can call it food) Is nowhere near normal food tasting. And if its so great, why try and make it taste like normal food..just leave it as is.
Carnivore diet! A buddies girl had a ton of allergies and she did it, said it made her feel like a superhero after her digestive system got used to it. The first week or so can be a little difficult in a bathroom way, but once your gut bacteria change then that goes away. Good luck!
Nova like you I'm allergic to everything, but I decided to go all natural with my foods. We raise alot and grow alot. I found that if you buy it THEN they have put something into it that I'm allergic to, especially dairy products. So we found a Amish family in our area that have dairy cows that we buy milk, cheeses, butter and other stuff from them. I am glad to tell you it is all natural nothing added raised on grass not GMO feeds and I love it and no problems at all. I have been without dairy for 30 years and now I can have it and I love it. Try to not have an processed foods only all natural. This has helped me and I hope this helps you, God Bless❤
This is solid advice. Also source your meat from these types of producers. When you see the difference we will be waiting anxiously for Tom's song exposing Big Farm!
You need to speak to an allergy specialist. I went through this very same thing with my niece many yrs ago and she was asthmatic as well, still is to this day. After her allergy test results, like Nova, she was allergic to a lot of things as well. So the specialist put her on a series of shots treating her allergies for 2 yrs in order to build up her immunity, etc.. and it worked! Please look into this option for Nova with an allergy specialist.
The domesticated couple that you two are is hilarious I bet both of you keep the laughs going all through the day LOVE YOU BOTH! Dirty Money is a masterpiece!👍
Hey Nova! I am so sorry about your results. My daughter just went through this and came up allergic to 40 foods via blood test. 60 total. I just wanted to tell you that blood tests for food allergies are not accurate. Skin prick tests are! Just in case you didn't know. With our recent skin prick, shes allergic to around 17 foods. 39 allergies total Much easier to manage and was right on point when we tested her tolerance. I'm really sorry. Shopping is going to be rough for a while. If you need any recommendations on snackies I'm here for you!
You are so sweet, Sarah. I do hope she reaches out to you and those who have offered their experience as well. I am so happy your daughter went through second testing and got more food items back to her list.
who cares about these results? Why do you people buy into this crap? EAT WHAT EVER YOU WANT! REAL food allergies are OBVIOUS. You CANT EAT THAT SHIT or you will get VERY SICK IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, eat what ever you want. Moderation as always, is key.
@@oceanteabear I think this is a different kind of allergy test. Sounds to me like some kind of BS nonsense they are fooling people with into restricting their diets....its part of the Globalist agenda. First they ACTUALLY poisoned the wheat, but Ciliac is not an allergy, if a doctor tells you it is, they are lying to you. Call them out and I am sure they will explain that "what they meant was...". Allergies cause histamine responses. Ciliac is an immune response due to the altered DNA in the GMO wheat pollen spreading around the world for the past four decades...
I am 65 and deathly allergic to bananas, melons and many raw vegetables. Did not go to an allergist until my mid 30s, (country boy and my Gran had honey based remedies for most foods with mild symptoms), he did 8 of the 8 pack pricks plus 2 individuals for a total of 66. I reacted to all 66. Life over? Nope! I just kept eating the foods with mild symptoms, kept an Epi Pen with me just in case, lived through a few bad reactions and learned from them, took no drugs, avoided the dangerous aforementioned foods and my body eventually stopped reacting to 75% of the foods. Don't know what your symptoms are, but if they are mild I would advise you to trust your body to adapt to some of the items. Try to eat some local honey every day. God bless and I'll say a prayer for you now.
God bless your Granny! I'm allergic to fennel and cilantro which is also coriander, and live in Texas. I swear they put it on everything in every restaurant.
Maybe try a carnivore diet. Dr.Berg had some great information on it and it has helped tremendously. ❤ HOG We just want you feeling better without fake food cheese 🤢
Dr Bergs healthy keto and intermittent fasting lifestyle saved my life. But I went carnivore, cause vegetables still have anti nutrients, oxalates, lectins, saponins, etc. They aren't essential, like animal proteins and fats.
Red meat or white meat. Your poultry pork the other white meat fish greens... You have to keep a healthy balanced and that means exposing your immune system two things you may be allergic to but when you cook you are creating a different chemical compound. I think you should actually look at what your cooking with as in your tools your spatulas your pans your pots What detergents are you using on them? You can also be from hair color. You have no idea the chemicals that we used bleach and make all these funky colors in our hair. I too am guilty of this they used to call me rainbow Brite when I was in high school for a reason. And I'm not trying to be political here. But you know the Rona. I know your asthmatic and a lot of us didn't know but I too am suffering damage from wearing a stupid mask for a year-and-a-half. That cuts down your immune system by exposing yourself to your own toxic chemicals such as CO2. The brain now suffers lost tissue because not enough oxygen is getting into the blood. The only way oxygen can get onto your blood is through iron. As in anemia? You need to find the common chemical compound in these things they telling you you're allergic to and that's how you narrow it down . You can find out if chemicals that you find in hair color beauty products detergents and soaps may cause an allergy to that certain chemical compound found in those foods.
Sweet heart. You are a pure carnivore. Temper your diet with green veggies. You can do this. *Or... you can just live on love. DON'T GET ANY IDEAS TOM!*
one thing you have to keep in mind with these tests is that it doesn't tell you how allergic you are to them, just that you are. your body can sustain a certain amount of toxin(allergen intake) without causing any ill effect toward yourself. So you can possibly eat certain items just fine even though you maybe allergic to it.
Not trying to argue but that’s a bad idea in a lot of allergy cases, maybe even most. Allergic reaction likelihood increase the more triggered your immune system is. I’m not saying you are wrong because different people do have sub symptomatic reactions but that doesn’t mean it isn’t harming the body.
@@ozwaltreacts4709 yep, any environmental irritation that makes my eyes swell triggers the eczema and leaves me looking like a red panda (think Master Sifu from Kung Fu Panda) for the next couple weeks.
@@ozwaltreacts4709 The person is right. Just imagine your allergy is represtive of an empty cup. You can add alergies to your cup without any ill effects. It's when the cup overflows that you experience allergy symptoms. Problem being is figuring out how big your cup is and what makes it overflow. Obvisouly, if your allergies are deadly don't play around.
@@tomchan0 I get what you are saying in general but very often the allergic response isn't a single thing in a cup. Many people have multiple allergies at the same time and considerring the varied amounts of ingredients in a single meal, especially with processed foods, there is a very real possibility that someone can be hitting multiple allergies at the same time. If you have a person who has outdoor pollen allergies, low level of dairy and wheat and peanut allergies and they have low levels of allergies to certain chemical formulations they are using. That person will get sick with no way to track what did what to them. That's not some left field example either. Tons of people are in that situation. The sensitization threshold will continue to be lowered and then they have an allergic attack but what did it? It really was all of that working in conjunction. If the person is only eating or being exposed to one allergen at a time then sure. And sometimes that is the case but often it isn't.
Nova. I avoid most dairy because the hormones in it just destroy my face with cystic acne. So for the last 4 years, I only drink Oatly as my milk and eat Miyokos butter and cheeses. They are so good, I like the Oatly and Miyokos butter better than dairy. Even my husband prefers them. I'm sorry you have so many allergies. I hope you find other foods you really love ❤️ hugs! Trust me... in the last 4 years, I have tried every kind of vegan milk and cheese.Chao cheese slices are good too.
pretty sure all of the decent (they're not actually good) vegan "dairy" items, especially cheese... include things she's allergic to. That Almond allergy is going to SUCK for trying to find vegan alternatives to actual animal products... it's SO common
My wife is lactose intolerant , pre diabetic , and glutton allergies it takes a while but there is plenty nova can have, learning a new way to cook ain't all bad. after two years i have found over a hundred different kinds of meals that we share on a regular basis! Good luck and good food to you!!
I was prediabetic before, but most of us who go carnivore lose that with a lot of the pounds and inflammation when we make the change. Last A1c was 5! My arthritis is also considerably less, I just wish the last little bit of eczema on my ankle would clear tf up.
Lactose intolerance is actually an intolerance to pasteurization which changes the substance from healthy to toxic. Most everything is pasteurized, milk, yogurt, cheese, butter. But if you try Organic Unpasteurized milk & cheese, you will notice a huge difference without any issues.
I need that pepper shaker! We need more Nova and Tom food reviews. These are the best! Even though I feel terrible for you. Hopefully you can find some stuff you actually like.
Nova, is it the cassein you're allergic to? Because if so, you could try goat cheeses. They come in all different styles... Regular goat cheese, goat mozzarella, goat cheddar...
Nova and Tom, this is painful to watch. The ultimate elimination diet is beef and water. Start there. Dr. Ken Berry, Dr Annette Bosworth Bosworth, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Makala Peterson, Kelly Hogan, etc. Please for your health! You both are awesome. ❤
What I found out was that I was not allergic to the actual foods themselves but the way they were grown and processed- the insecticides - the glyphosate which got into the food - there are studies showing the increase in what was thought to be increase in sensitivity to gluten but it turned out there was a correlation to the quantity of glyphosate in the the same foods. For example I cannot tolerate flour in Australia (not even organic) but in Europe I have no reactions whatsoever. Look into things more deeply. Good luck.
Aww Nova, my heart goes out to you. I feel so bad. My little girl has allergies towards dairy and she hates the alternatives so she just eats normal cheese, butter, milk and ice cream 🍨 ❤️🏴
This video made me feel strange emotions 😅😢 good luck Nova... you got this 👍 Tom your support for Nova is amazing. People helping people is so beautiful to see.
Hey, Nova, Sorry to hear about this, but look into a carnivore diet. You should still be able to have butter or ghee since not much in the way of isolates. No eggs is a real bummer - but check with the allergist to see if its just egg yolks; You might still be able to have egg whites, which should help. I started on it as an exclusion diet to find out what I'm allergic to, but I stuck with it since I'm much healthier now. Besides, who can argue with a nice steak?
Geeze girl! All the good stuff is off the table for you? You just named off half my favorite fruit! Also I love you guys. You're the definition of power couple and relationships goals.
sounds like it's the carnivore diet for you then. getting allergies like that is usually a sign of having leaky gut at some point in time. i was allergic to almost everything but after a couple years of carnivore more then half my allergies are gone. i can have dairy again. but i seem to still be allergic to paprika, msg, multiple preservatives, and chicken eggs, but weirdly i can eat duck and quail eggs still. just gotta let the guts rest and heal. i wasn't able to eat dairy until about 3 years into carnivore but i can now. and weirdly enough my problems with wheat wasn't an allergy, if i take lactoferrin i can totally eat pasta again, which means i've gained some weight. so, back to being strict again to get the weight off. good luck!
You might find that raw milk (Unpasturized A2/A2) like you get from a mini jersey will not impact you the way other dairy does. A2 milk is also lactose tolorant milk. If you can source any where they do things naturally, you can make your own cheese and butter from it. I'd also recommend trying to find honey from a local source. The bees will have processed a lot of the allergens and a spoonfull of local honey a day can help boost your immune system.
Shout out to the dog in the refection of the bottom oven at 3:08 enjoy that bed. I agree, not being able to eat/do what you like sucks. Had to go through allergy test back in the day. Respect Nova. Respect Tom.
Eat meat and vegetables, try to avoid all processed and ‘fake foods’. If it comes in a packet = don’t eat it All the best to you and Tom, beautiful people ❤️❤️
I feel so bad for you Nova!😢 If I could I would take one or two maybe three of those things you are allergic to just so you would be able to have them. Keep your chin up!
best option if you are allergic to that much stuff is probably the carnivore diet... Dr Jordan Peterson talks a lot about it and how it helped him and his daughter with major health issues.
I went through the skin jabs, allergy shots, asthma and I'm happy to say... today, I can eat whatever I want, though I'm Vegetarian, and live with a bunch of pets!😊
Oh man Nova, that sucks 😢I found out 3 years ago that I'm allergic to most vegetables and some fruits but I was surprisingly okay with that lol. Cheese though, OMG! If I had to go without cheese, I'd probably die. Just go carnivore and eat all the steak and sausages and pork chops and hamburgers you want.
takes me back to when i was a kid, i was allergic to all types of food back then, i just said nope and ate the foods i liked anyways.. i dont know why but i am not allergic to many of them now.. some things you might want to try if you have spring allergies is local raw honey. that is o/c your not allergic to it as well. eating raw honey can reduce local allergies quite a lot.
A lot of people that are deemed allergic to dairy, find they can have goat milk and cheese. Way better alternative. Seems like the Keto diet would be perfect for you. Check out Dr Berg here on RU-vid
Yes! Nova, don't do that fake vegan crap. Not good for you. A lot of people are OK with goat milk and cheese, and sometimes even with the well-aged regular hard cow cheeses. All yummy! I do the A2 half and half when I just have to have some real cream in my coffee.
In Australia we have a huge variety of nut-free, dairy-free etc products that actually taste great. Surely the US has a huge variety of these? No garlic and strawberries is rough.
If you're ok with Fish, you can make a mean roux based white sauce 'Aquatic Mac 'n Breeze' with everything you'd normally use in Mac 'n Cheese but use a really good vegan spread instead of butter and Oat milk with a pinch of dried parsley, and a few Tuna chunks and some Salmon. The Tuna adds the saltines of Cheese and the Salmon gives it a lil' smoothness of flavour to bring out the creaminess of the roux. Add a tiny pinch of Tumeric for colour, and a dusting of nutmeg on the top with pepper if it's ok. It gives the same satisfaction of eating dairy cheese and is also a lovely Summer alternative for everyone else. 💝
I feel your pain girl, I'm in the same boat with the same paddle. When I'm treating my body right (which as a busy mom is rare unfortunately) I eat mostly plain rice, chicken, and all the fruits and veggies I can get my hands on and that i dont have issues with. Any and all dairy is a no no, even the substitutes cuz of hidden ingredients or they're just gross as you've learned lol. It's harsh if you're someone who loves food but you do get used to it. Hang in there, it will get better. 💯🇨🇦❤️✌️ p.s. supplements are important since you can't get all your nutrients from your diet.
@@americanmeade3180 I have diverticulosis and severe IBS. The diverticulosis came along after trying the carnivore diet because it aggravated my IBS so badly. It might work wonders for some people but not for me thanks. I'm on a low fodmap diet now and I'm feeling much better.
We're on our own journey with my hubby's allergies, but damn Nova! I thought he had it bad with wheat, soy, sesame and peanut. I have to read every label and thank goodness I am able to do swaps and prep from scratch. I'll do some research on your allergies and see what I can come up with for you. And Tom----YOU SUCK! I love my husband so I don't eat what he can't in front of him. Be better!!!! Seriously, I just love you both so much. I promise you that HOGFAM will find solutions!!!
This was excruciating to watch. I feel guilty having no allergies. I couldn't imagine the pain of only having a diet your allergies allow. I feel for, girl. Much love to you both 💕
I suggest getting a 2nd opinion on allergy testing. Was told I too at young age had loads of food allergies. Gave it a summer try with special foods then went right back to eating whatever. About 40yrs later and not dead.
Two things I have learned about this year's ago.... 1) when you make changes like this you MUST force yourself a minimum of 21 days then your taste buds WILL change. (They WONT taste good till you acclimate. 2) if you spproach it with your mind telling you it won't be good (aka expecting it to taste bad) IT WILL. I gave up cheese 5 yrs ago and freaked out, today if I taste it, it makes me ill
Im sorry Nova! That sux! Im sure you will figure it out with everyones help that is in the same boat. I have IBS, so everything i eat kills my stomach. I just like like food enough to figure out a different diet, lol. Love you both!
Nova you seem to be allergic to many many things, i'm sorry. Tom is sampling that nasty cheese to be supportive of your plight, thats a nice gesture Tom. You two have renewed my faith in MUSIC! Thanx! Also and more importantly you've renewed my faith in LOVE! GOD continue to BLESS you both!
Oh, man, Nova, that really sucks. And it's almost impossible to get takeout with allergies because you never know all the little ingredients they put into a dish. Can you hire a personal chef or a dietician to come up with some tasty recipes for you that are safe for you to eat and that you can then make for yourself?
Allergies suck big ass. I'm so sorry, Nova. You'll figure it out, I promise. It took us forever with our wheat sensitivities, but we got there. Soy cheese was the absolute worst and I can't have a lot of cow's milk, so I tried a new almond milk this week that shouldn't be allowed to exist. It tastes and smells a bit like sweet play doh. Blech! Oat "milk" isn't too bad in my opinion, if you can have it...at least the chocolate oat milk ice cream isn't bad. And soy milk is passable.
Like other folks mentioned, the skin “scratch” test is more accurate. Because the allergic reaction is heavily linked to Ace2 receptors thus, epithelial tissues will react faster than blood where an exposure must have happen to detect the metabolized histamines. In sum, I would suggest you consider the test instead of relying on a simple bloodwork. Look up Jordan Peterson’s daughter on RU-vid, Mikaela Peterson, who went through hell and almost lost her life to food allergies. I hope you get to feel better. Be blessed, Nova.
I'm allergic to everything too. Overly processed vegan stuff ain't it though. You should really try going carnivore for a bit. It sounds awful, and it's really hard, but I'd be shocked if you didn't see improvements. I was vegetarian for 10 years and it wrecked my health
Jordan Peterson's daughter does a lion's diet. I am allergic to so many basic foods and have amended the diet to beef and whatever I can eat with it. I wish you the best. We were raised on industrally poisoned foods. Prayers and Good vibes to you both.
Poor Nova 😟 I hate that for you. I don't know anything about snacks or foods for you to try, I wish I did. Honestly I just wanted to tell you I'm proud of you.... When the hits come, you hit right back! You are brave and you are strong. That's part of why Tom loves you, that's why we all look up to you. You can do this Nova! F*** allergies!! Good luck my friend, Much love to you ❤
Hey Nova, I'm actually vegan, went vegan 4 years ago because my body was just fuckkking wrecked! Had diabetes, high blood pressure, etc etc. The best thing you can do is eat whole foods so make your own vegan cheese. There are a million recipes on Pinterest but primarily the "cheese" is made from cashews and nutritional yeast, nutritional yeast is your best friend it taste like parmesan and is actually amazing on popcorn. I recently found out I'm susceptible to kidney stones, just passed a staghorn stone... it was legit like giving birth, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy so now my diet is even more restricted. I honestly believe all the additives and BS these pre made foods have are what are destroying everyone's body and capability to eat foods, they are ok every once in a while but when your a kid growing up on cereals and chef boyardee, well I'm the end result. A 48 yr woman who's body has had enough. Do some research sister, join a real vegan group, stay away from the processed crap. The vegans can help navigate around your dairy allergies and give great advice on tasty whole foods alternative. Best of luck to you. Btw, I'm the one that name my cat after you 😻😹, she is now an orange lil chonk of a cat and loves to give kisses
Sounds like a carnivore diet might be for you .. should check out mikhaila Peterson (Jordan Peterson’s daughter) she does this diet and it has helped her big time
Nova, your so sweet- I can totally relate. I also have a lot of food allergies. As well as working out 1.5 yrs of horrible allergies for my white dog now too. But what I really have come to understand all these years is how critical our gut bacteria is. My adult acne got horrible after a round of antibiotics few years ago, that I wouldn’t have taken if I didn’t need it. We need nourishment! I’ve been allergic to dairy and wheat my whole life. The dairy is NoT just lactose. Literally get a rash when it touches me. But if you think about it….., cows are designed to drink their mamas milk. If we were to be drinking it, we wouldn’t have to take away the babies to consume their milk? Also, remember cows have four stomachs humans seem to disconnect from that reality. Many of these allergies can remedy themselves once you stay away from them for a while and regain your gut balance to heal. Just remember to focus on the good and what you can have, in abundance, instead of what you can’t have. Cuz that will only make you sad! Keep shining sweetheart.❤ We are all exposed to so many gm toxins and chemicals and other things I won’t mention here that our poor bodies are having reactive imbalances. Hang in there hun. Sounds like your on the right track. Smile
Fody foods!! Totally agree the allergy thing can get better or go away. But I’m afraid I’ve been stuck with that garlic one for over 23 years and even though the others have eased in the symptoms, that one still gets me😢Fody condiments help!! They have salsa, taco sauce, ketchup & bases for soups and seasonings. Rachel Paul has a really good italian seasoning as well! Once you figure out what you can eat it’s nice to change it up😊 God bless!
Poor Nova. My Mim was allergic to everything too. Dust, fresh cut grass, strawberries, ucalptis & several other things. She took allergy shots 2 times a week for years. You will figure out a good diet for you. Much love from Eastern NC ♥️🇺🇸🏖🌊
