Hello Foodies,
So we went to try all the viral and budget friendly food in Connaught Place (CP) and here is the list of what we had and how it tasted:
1. Bhogal Chole Bhature(Spent Rs. 145)- 7/10, Kesar Lassi- 10/10 (must try)
2. Dolma Aunty Momos, CP(Spent Rs. 50)- 5/10, chutney- 9/10
3. Rasmalai and Gulab Jamun on street side(Rs. 80)- 9.5/10 and 9/10
4. Kutty's South Indian(Rs. 150)- Dosa- 9/10, Vada- 8/10
5. Odeon Paan, CP(Rs. 210)- we took it home and its a 10/10 and a must try
So we started by deboarding the metro at Rajiv Chowk, Gate no.-5, which is near to the Janpath Exit. The first place we went was Bhagol Chole Bhature, the chole were good but the bhatura was pretty dense. We took the Kesar lassi and it was literally awesome.
Next up, we went to Dolma momos and its a no no for me, its very general momos with quite the pricing and next to it was Deepaul, which is clearly very overhyped.
Then we took a break at Starbucks and went over to the street side sweet shop and had Rasmalai and Gulab Jamun with Rabri. That was a pretty awesome experience and taste.
Last stop was Kutty's South Indian Food which was quite far from Central CP so we took an auto ride and went there. The Dosa was pretty good and had the perfect flavour and the vada was great too. For Rs. 150 that was good and filling meal. Finally we took meetha pan and chocolate pan from Odeon Pan Shop in CP
Tell me your suggestion to go to in CP or any other place in comments.
