As a Brazilian Trans Woman, I never think in police as nothing on my entire life, I've never called them for nothing and I'll never be interested in call.
Trust me, being a Trans woman in jail with the males, is a sobering experience! It is a TRIP! I gathered a few fans of my own while I was in Orange County jail, Orlando! Simply put, I served 41 days and had my own cell and mucho lunch and dinner trays, every day!!! They treat the Girls good!!! 😘
I am a biological female in Orlando Florida when I caught a case for a DUI. They put us all together in the holding cell until you go to population. They don’t care. Lol but I am agreeing with Maddie.I didn’t get treated bad in Orange County and I didn’t have to take my weave out.They help me get out. But in Florida if you go in with an nasty attitude or feel entitled, they will put you in your place.
That's how it was for me, too. In FL I got locked up after I was pulled over for not stopping 100% at a stop sign. I only had my student ID & the cop found warrants listed under my name (which is common). They initially brought me to be held at woman's criminal jail that was full of tattooed gang girls. I was the smallest & lightest- I'm Latina, but they all kept calling me blaquita (lil white girl) & güerita.🙃 The officers suspected the warrants were a mistake & didn't want to get in trouble if I got hurt there, so they moved me to the main coed holding cell. It had other non-violent suspects, like guys locked up over child support & check forging. I felt safer in coed tbh. My bf came to pick me up when he got off work & brought my drivers license so the mistake with the warrants was resolved. He thought it was hilarious, but I was so scared! I've stopped 100% at every stop sign since then 🤣
@@scarletsletter4466 same, I never drink didn’t drive again. You cannot pay me to drink liquor. I learned my lesson, but most of the people that were in jail were in there for fraud, credit card or checks.
Thank you for highlighting the hatred (black) cis women have towards black trans women. As a cis woman, I appreciate the reminder to be reflective about why our community behaves that way. I know so many people who get extremely triggered and you hit the point directly - it's insecurity. There's nothing wrong with men who are attracted to trans women. I love and appreciate you just for existing, may you continue to prosper.
I dislike the way black trans identified males point fingers at black women to make us villains in their origin story. Black women are not the same, we are not mules, nor are we human support animals for you to use. Men are responsible for the high murder of trans yet there is always a black trans person (born male usually) pointing all their ire and disrespect towards black women. That is true insecurity and jealousy to me. No way in the world a woman would be jealous or insecure of an imitation with a penis. I wish Trans identified persons Leave black women alone.
As a TS myself who dates black men. I believe that it stems from two places. There is a high amount of homophobia in the black community already, but when a black male who is supposed to be a masculine black man “degrades” himself by turning into a woman or presenting feminine. It’s like a double dose of hatred. Not only is a black trans woman now a threat to other women, by her transitioning, the black community “lost” a black man. And the standards of masculinity in that community for men are so insane that it’s literally created a DL culture. I think there is levels to things and if a black man is with a passable trans girl I don’t really view him as “DL” because clearly he’s attracted to women and femininity, but I think sometimes these trans girls are forced into silence for so long from men who interact with them, that eventually they start to “expose” (hate that word) these men because they want everyone to know what’s really happening, not to shame the man but to let other men know that their homie might bash trans girls in public, but he’s getting with them quietly. We need to allow heterosexual men the same sexual fluidity that we allow heterosexual women. I mean look at someone like Nikita Dragun, are we surprised that heterosexual men would be into that? She looks female! Men will bang sex dolls! It’s not a female but it’s feminine and close enough. Praying the homophobia ends and that we allow all men to be more fluid and not have to suddenly label themselves a new sexuality just because they found a beautiful trans girl attractive!
Another issue is that gay men who tend to be feminine have issues in the gay dating world and will GLADLY be straight black mens DL hook ups. It creates a DL culture where straight men feel like disrespecting a fully transitioned transwoman by secretly sleeping with her is the same thing as having DL fun with another man. We have to admit there is a huge difference between a straight man getting with someone who looks like Nikita Dragun, or someone who looks like saucy Santana. But the saucy santanas want those men also!!
Correct. We are the only race that can be disrespected without repercussions. It has to stop. We sometimes agree with their disrespect of us. This has to stop.
Not the only race Arabs get disrespected too probably more because sometimes black disrespect us too when I travel around the world I get treated with disrespect but I love all races all of us have the good/bad kind of people
Isn’t there literally a book called “the problem with white people”?? Imagine if it said black people? We need to stop lumping all white people together. There is multiple cultures that are white. Irish Americans, Italian Americans, Russian Americans and so on! Even some black people who “pass” as white!! My father grew up in a time where businesses had signs that said “If you are Italian or Irish do not apply” on Now Hiring signs!!
@@onelove1446 you missed the point entirely. As an asain person we still have MORE privilege though bc people still see light skin. No one is saying there's no hate against other minority groups, TS is just saying that there's so much that black people specifically deal with due to racism and how people correlate that with skin color first and foremost.
There's some stuff I don't agree with. BUT, as a trans woman from South Africa, going to the police or acting out in a way that invites them into your space is putting yourself at risk.
And the doctor should’ve told you that you need mental health therapy and maybe some medicines for your imbalance of the chemicals in your brain that makes you and allows you to think that you could possibly be a woman

Maddie, your story is exactly why cash bond needs to be abolished. You were arrested for a non-violent crime and posed no threat to society. You should not have to stay in jail to pay a fine. People need to go to work to make sure they don't lose their jobs and bring such in jail for non-violent offenses will destroy your life because if you lose your job, you can't pay your car insurance which causes your driver's license to be suspended, your car gets repossessed because you don't have insurance or you can't pay the bill, you get evicted and now you are homeless. All of that can happen just because you can't pay a $200 - $500 bail.

When I was a binary trans woman (male to female) a year or so ago I got arrested by the cops for a .06 DUI which was proven in court as not being one and is reckless driving and I definitely regret that time but my best suggestion to queer people is just do what the cops say and comply w the system. Now, added, I’m white and Romani, so there’s that privilege there, but I’d also like to thank the local police for respecting me and not violating me or beating me around for being queer. I’m now androgyne for safety reasons but yeah ND really thought she could just do whatever the f- she wanted and that’s not cool. You gotta chill out, comply and stay quiet bc they read back to you everything you said/did in the interaction. Stay safe LGBTQIA+ community!!!

I went through the same thing as TS😅 “how they put a lady like you in here with the mens” 😂😂😂😂 they was hungry. I was bailed out same day while they all got processed in. My license says F but I have a penis they did not know what to do with me.

As a queer black cis woman, I don't get the vitriol that some cis women come with when trying to attack transwomen. It feels so deeply rooted in insecurity and it makes me sad for them. I feel that the same women who attack transwomen, attack other ciswomen with that 'pick me' energy. There are too many beautiful and interesting people out here to try to compete with a total stranger, or anyone for that matter.
I am a trans girl that has my gender Marker female on my ID and also on my birth certificate I just went to jail maybe a week ago stayed there for three days everything says female they didn’t know that I was trans so I told the officer hi I don’t want to be put in a holding cell with no men because I am trans and I have women body parts and they let me be with the women if I had boy body parts and I had my ID and my birth certificate I’ll change to female I still would’ve been with the males he goes by what you have down there not what you have on your paperwork
NTD may still have her male parts. That's why she was thrown in a male's facility. Legally female is not the same as gender. Does that make sense? Still, putting her in a male jail was dangerous. Separate her.
It's different now. They had her in a holding cell. They never put her with the men. I worked at the jail. These days they don't want them type of issues.

When I got locked up they asked me was I transgender and I said no.They assumed I was trans simply because Im not very masculine presenting.However Im not trans.They proceeded to ask me did I want to be on PC which is Protected Custody or Open Population.I said OP.I did not want to be around a bunch of gays or lock down.I wanted to be treated like a normal male.I wasnt afraid primarily because I grew up in a very rough area in Washington dc.I know when Maddie got arrested the trade was going off.She's very pretty and has body ody!!
This was truly very insightful💯 gave me a better understanding of I was feeling because I didn’t want to be one sided because I’m a female💯 but I also feel like you have to play your part and know you’re not the common denominator in fact your a target. She found out that day all that LA acting behavior will get you dealt with in other places. You can mess off like that in LA especially in West Hollywood, she forgot where she was at 💯
This is why we need little trans jails/prisons. Won’t help with the lesbian/gay issue though, but we all have to deal with that in sex segregated situations.
