Well put. As always, pastors Tom and Graham are bringing common sense from a biblical perspective, not from man’s subjective ideas.

Very strong stand. People think that abortion is a pregnancy choice when it is a delivery choice. Dead or Alive. So tragic that we have lost all fear of God and love for life Well Done, Gentlemen.

Why is John McArthur the only pastor that is teaching about what we are living through. Revelations. Roman's 1: 18-32. There are no politicians worthy of our vote.

Enjoyed this video. As Christians it is our job to speak God’s truth. And we are warned in God’s Word that we would be hated and persecuted for doing so. And we signed up for that job when we chose Jesus as our Lord. Donald Trump, though, is not a Christian. It isn’t his job to stand for God’s truth. He’s a politician, not a preacher. It’s his job to get elected. And to do so, he has to compromise. Seventy percent of the American electorate wants legal abortion with some restrictions. To get elected, he has to pander to that electorate. That’s what politicians do. You and I as Christians can’t do that, but it’s his job. Don’t treat him like a Christian. He isn’t one. It isn’t his job to stand up against abortion. It’s his job to get elected. But it is our job to take a stand against the wickedness of the United States. In a representative democracy, the candidate that can convince the most number of sinners to vote for them is the winner. That does not lead to Christian policy or leadership. We need to quit expecting that it will.

What would happen if say, a Dr. put a pregnant woman (I mean, pregnant man or woman, or "person"!!!🤪😆) asleep, and ever so carefully - without even hurting the woman in the slightest, terminated the pregnancy against her will. Is that a crime? What crime is it? It's just a "fetus", right? So, it can't be murder!! Can't really be assault - because the woman wasn't hurt. I guess its not really a problem at all, right?!? 🤔😵‍💫🙄🤡 Maybe in clown-world it's not a problem! But in the real world, it would be MURDER!!!!!! Kinda like abortion is murder!

Good program. You and I have the obligation as Christians to stand for God’s truth. That’s our job. We were forewarned in scripture that that would make us hated and persecuted. We chose that obligation when we chose Jesus as our Lord. No doubt about it. But Trump’s job is not to stand for truth. He’s a politician. It’s his job to win elections. And in a country where 70% of the electorate want abortion to be legal with some restrictions, then it’s his job to pander to that electorate to win the election. We cannot put our burden as Christians on a man who is not a Christian, and doesn’t even really claim to be one. It’s my job to be hated for Christ’s sake. It’s his job to convince voters to like him enough to vote for him. We have two different callings. In a representative democracy like ours, the side that convinces the most number of sinners to vote for them wins. We really shouldn’t expect much more than pragmatism from our politicians in that system. Stay strong for God’s truth. Thanks for the video.

I guess what I’m wondering is this……Back before Trump and Obama, who are cult of personality types of politicians, we had Republican presidents like George W. Bush, H.W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan who all held to the same position on abortion that Trump now holds, and I don’t remember Christians getting upset at them during their candidacies back when they all won their primary and General Election victories, by holding to the same positions of the exceptions of rape, life of the mother, and incest. I think we as Christians in the past, and even currently, haven’t been very consistent in our convictions about abortion. Having said all that, I think that what we as voters and grassroots supporters always do is vote for the lesser of two evils, because really, that’s all you can do. Men are fallen creatures who sin, and none are righteous, no, not one. We as Christians need to continue to stay on the alert, stay engaged, research candidates, and vote for them based on the policies that most closely align with our worldview, and hopefully…..their character as well, but we also need to constantly be reminded by scripture that it is God who removes kings and sets up kings. ( Daniel 2:21 ) Ultimately…..God’s will, will be accomplished no matter what, and we as followers of the one, true, and living God, need to ready ourselves for possible, and real persecution for what we believe here in the West. No worldly king or prince can save us, only Christ can.

To call Trump's support of 15weeks and openly condemning the Arizona decision "the same as Reagan" or the Bushes is oversimplistic at best. Trump was always a Cult of Personality. Which is why he gets away with trampling Red Line positions the conservatives have held for 40yr. But I have never, ever, voted for an openly Pro-Choice candidate since becoming a Christian. And I won't now.
@heartofalegend
@heartofalegend 4 месяца назад
That's very nicely and respectfully stated. I would argue that Trump is reasoning more along the lines of Bill "safe, legal, and rare" Clinton, right now. Straight up "pro choice." That's a problem.

I may not vote in this election because neither person Trump or Biden aren't worth my vote.

Same here. I voted for Trump in 2016 & 2020. Biden is a dementia-compromised, morally & spiritually bankrupt individual, but the idolatry that people show toward Trump is unlike anything I have ever witnessed.

Guy #1: Leave it to the states. Against abortion, but supports exceptions for 1% situations. Guy #2: Kill babies even after they are born? Cool with me. What a f-Ing hard choice!

Guy #1 will lose because everyone recognizes that he has no moral conviction, but guy #2 is playing to the passion of his constituents. We are beyond pragmatism people. Become a crusader or watch everything be destroyed.
