TS185 I can’t believe I made it through this

I appreciate the kind words the old girl needs some repairs so won’t be out for a little while but the ts isn’t going anywhere

They are getting hard to find and expensive everywhere mate seems like Australia got bulk of the stock haha always for sale over the ditch

This bike has only let me down once. It does incredibly well in most terrains

I had the Tf185 mud bug same engine with bigger flywheel absolutely awesome machine

This is a tf185 engine I fully stripped and bored out 2mm over with some mild porting it runs pretty bloody good

He has a fuel injected 300exc he just loves the challenge

I will end up on the track at some point I plan on a few round of vmx next season

Not the boring guy going around the same circuit all day. How boring is that. Try Trials might improve your skill level.

​@theboysadventures9956 I would do the bike up and retire it from such punishment😅 it's a vintage enduro in good order those things are valuable, I only ever beat on modern bikes, my old ones get well looked after

If I had the money to get another beater and keep this one for good I would but that’s not going to happen anytime soon haha

@@theboysadventures9956 spend a little on it and sell it, you'll get a half decent dirt bike and still have money left over

@@theboysadventures9956 absolutely mate most of my bikes are 20+ years old and they get the adventures done so easily and I can fix them out bush with minimal tools to limp home ,new bikes just can’t

I have a 2018 300exc as well and I’m one of the lucky ones that have always made it out of the bush. Touch wood haha. The ts let me down when it did a back flip off a big root step but lucky we were just by the main road out ended up being the main loom was all melted together but other than that it’s been bulletproof 💪🏻

@@theboysadventures9956 ha wicked at least the looms only 5 wires mate not hard to replace the 300 will shit the fuel pump if its injected i duno why ktms run such shitty electrical components its there only weak point at the end of the day if ya riding ya winning bro

It is a tpi but I think the 2018’s were the best model haha I’m at 220 hours on stock fuel pump and oil pump everything tests up mint haha but your right if the just stuck to the reliable gear they would be the best thing on two wheels

Iv geared the ts down a bit and first is really slow but it makes 2nd really good for most situations

I’m sure iv heard of the gut buster before if it’s like this it would be a hell of a race

Crazy thing is these rough old bikes are actually worth good money these days haha

I with a had pictures of the top end before I bored it out the poor thing was toast. After the full rebuild the things a rocket haha I do love these old bikes

I think I’m expecting just the right amount from the ts after all it made it through without much hassle😊
