This is from RU-vid trends: The meme first started gaining traction last week and is attributed to a silly video from a vlogger named "Filthy Frank." Though it was another user named SunnyCoastSkate who then established the form we've become familiar with: the jump cut, the helmet, etc. They were also both uploaded on the 2nd or February.
lmaoooo im like a decade late to this but the harlem shake first originated from the dizasta music video "filthy compilation #6 smell my fingers" on january 31st 2013. which is two days before thesunnycoastskate uploaded their version. which also happens to be the same day as when the disaztamusic channel uploaded the harlem shake clip separately from the compilation. which btw has 40 million views more than yours. this whole situation is harmless and lowkey very funny but someone needed to set the record straight. congrats for being on the news guys dfghjk !!
No they did not! In Filthy Franks video it is four guys in outfits dancing to music ( Harlem Shake ). But in the video made by TSCS it is a lone dancer and everyone else is ignoring him and then it jump cuts to everyone else doing a crazy dance. And that is what everyone has been copying or doing their own version of it.

These boys need to be arrested and charged with disturbing the peace. This video had gotton way out of control and it needs to stop. People are wasting time making these videos and gyrating to this music isn't healthy for the American public.
