Same here. I registered in the same Voting station. Come election day I was told I am in the wrong Voting station.

After registration, you get an sms, informing you of a voting station, you're going to be able to cast your vote on election day. Also it's your duty as a voter to check your registration status. Come on guys!

Registering on VD 1, doesn't mean you'll be able to cast your vote on VD 1. You can register on any VD but you can't vote on any VD.

So please tell me where it says in the constitution what my duties are, because registering and going to the voting station wasn't enough, if there's additional duties then the constitution needs to lay them out so that we know what the conditions of our right to vote are. Right now iec is a rogue actor demanding people do things the constitution doesn't require them to do.

On the voting day they tell me I registered to vote on my previous Voting station. When I asked them when did I do that? When I looked at the dates it was the same day when I registered my change. Despite all that I still didn't cast my vote. I lodge a complaint online after speaking for over an hour with the MES who dropped the phone on me while asking questions. Its possible you know, counting the numbers who couldn't go to vote because that day was not officially declared a public holiday, the many turned back voters who were not even given national ballot paper, the truckloads of ballot papers found going for dumping, the dead people appearing in the voter's lists at voting stations who had their ballot papers allocated, the ballots found in people's offices, the 2 hour downtime that changed the numbers on the board, the added numbers which were shown in pictures as evidence to add voters of certain parties, the scrapped ballot papers because magogos didnt fully understand 3 ballot papers and IEC didnt teach enough esp to the rural areas...I can go on and on and on
