When saying that they should try and fix the caste system, you looked confused. In india there is an old tradition, of keeping people in the caste "rank/level" they were born to. This is a quickly written explanation, as I didn't have time to read up on the issue, this is what I can remember from documentaries about the sgubject, that I have seen.
