No doubt he has contributed a lot towards welfare of Ladakh. Thank him a lot. But now it is time he take rest and give chances to younger generations. To much Clinging to chair and power makes one disgraceful. Hope he understands it and enters markdarshak camp.

There's no denying that Mr. Lakruk has made considerable efforts in his position to develop Ladakh, but the amount of development that occurred during Mr. JTN's tenure hasn't happened in Mr. Lakruk's 40-years political career. Respect to both leaders.
Apex Body and KDA should unanimously select Ka Tsering Dorjay Lakruk as an independent candidate for next election and all people should vote him as he is a promising, experienced and most eligible leader. He will also work beyond party for the interest of the people of Ladakh.

For the first time i see a bold and unbaised media person asking real critical questions to apex leader unlike other pro apex media groups who never asks such bold questions to apex leaders. BJP had done tremendous development during past 5 years both by MP and LAHDC but Ka Lakrook is not accepting this fact which shows his inner hidden envy against BJP young leaders and party. Development for Ladakh is equally important along with safeguard though we already have grassroot democracy in the form of LAHDCs and Panchayati Raj since long. It is not that we don't have people representation in Ladakh except 4 seats of MLA. Arrogant and rigid attitude of apex - KDA leaders with MHA and Amit Shah was the main cause of failure of the talks. They were not ready to continue talks even though MHA proposed empowerment of LAHDCs and providing required constitutional safeguards for which modalities were suppose to be set in further talks. But talk was intentionally derailed by apex - kda, so that they can keep the agenda of 6th schedule and statehood burning which is visible nowadays in the form of unnecessary protests that too knowing that nothing will happen as MCC is already in place. This is nothing but a well thought and pre planned propaganda against BJP and its leaders both in Ladakh and India. If APEX cud boycott LAHDC elections why not MP election..? Because main agenda of Apex - KDA - SW is to put down JTN and BJP. Now they see an opportunity to win MP seat because of the support of people for 6th schedule, they don't want to boycott MP elections. Their main purpose of putting down JTN is solved. Mixing of APEX - LBA was the biggest blunder done by Ka Thupstan and Ka Lakrook. If we go along Modi Sarkar all of our aspirations will be fulfilled soon. Else Ladakhis need to struggle for another 70 years like we did for UT because no other party will ever get such majority to amend constitution for such demands. Whether we believe or not political career of Ka Thupstan and Ka Lakrook in BJP was ended after entry of bold young leaders like JTN and CEC therefore they are now taking the grudges of the same in the form of Apex and KDA. "Sachai hamesha sabko kadwi lagti hey and hamesha Der se samaj ati hey" but Truth shall always prevail. Sitting on hunger strike by Ka SW even after official request of Apex leaders to stop it makes the whole story clear.
The main reason to not expect the proposal is KDA is by heart NC and one congress leader,if excepted the safeguard offer by Amit sha . Not good for congress NC alliance in mp election
