Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord.’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only who does the will of my father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, ‘Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then i will tell them plainly, I never knew you, Away from me you evildoers!. Many will list the works they did. They prophesied, drove out demons and perform many miracles in the “name” of Jesus. Please note it does not say that they said, “Lord, we repented of our sins and believe in your work on the cross to redeemed us! We trusted you to saved us Jesus!.” But instead they listed they're “works” or rituals or keeping the law can not save a single one of us because, “No one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law: rather, through the law we become conscious of sins”. Romans 3:20 And in Galatians 2:21 “I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”. If we sinned, repent(change and turn away from sin) ask God for forgiveness and he will forgive us 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness God forgives, but there's consequences And also Nothing can separate us from the love of God! Romans 8:38-39 Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Repent, believe and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, be sealed with God's Holy Spirit and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. We are not saved by obeying a list of do's and don'ts, but by grace through faith in Christ. Our salvation is in God's hands.
