What should I do if when I press my ac the display thing doesn’t pop up it was poping up but don’t know if when my battery died it made it change settings or what no can u help me out thanks
It does, this one especially says it does support subwoofers i took mine off or id check it out but it does have its remote wire and amp singal wires in the back
These HVAC units do not work very well, at least the one that I bought. I've had the mode change randomly when I go through the temp settings and don't have auto enabled. If you want to test this out put one zone on "Lo" and one on "Hi". I can almost bet you that the "Hi" zone does not blow hot air. It should be around 110F on the stock and on these it blows at 50F. I've also had issues with the door open window not turning off, no temp reading on the gauge cluster, random HVAC settings pop up when just driving and disconnects which require a restart of the radio to get CarPlay working again. From what people describe no manufacture can get these HVAC controls correctly. If I do get a refund from Ali I may get a stock unit and modify it to fit a 2 DIN radio.
@@oscar_cu2 it is possible or being a newer version has some bugs in the software. If you have time and can test can you let me know what the temp blows out when one side is Hi and the other is Lo? The high should be 110F. Even when I set it to say 73 with a single zone, the passenger side seems a bit warmer (now that it is cold). In any case I asked the AliExpress seller for a prepaid label and of course they refused even after providing video proof. AliExpress didn't even force the seller so I had to go to my credit card company for a dispute/chargeback. AliExpress may ban me but after going through this ordeal I really am not dropping money on anything expensive there again. Shipping prices would have been $70-100 to send it back.
Does the older version without the physical HVAC controls have a less intense setting of the fan? It seems like the lowest settings blows like Max AC on the stock system. the fan button changes the intensity but the lowest setting is way higher than stock.
My dual zone is not working properly. If you set one side to cold and the other to warm you only get one or the other. These climate controls are garbage. I am done messing around with this and will request a refund. I really do want Apple Carplay but not with all the issue baggage these come with.

Yes its in the settings the other thing you could do is restart it with the tiny button and seeing if that helps i got rid of the new one but i never got to experience that issue myself
@@oscar_cu2 I push the reset button with a paper click and nothing. I tried going to the menu but because it keeps "flicking the screen" i cannot enter the factory mode cause the screen keeps changing. I need a way to enter into recovery mode to do a reset. Not sure if i can use a keyboard to enter recovery mode or something.

Unit still works greay unfortunately dont have the car anymore but its a friend of mines and he says its still kicking and even still that the car is in mexico
Is there a downloadable update? Or is this preloaded on this unit? mine is a year old , no ac buttons , ive never gotten an update for it and i cant stand the celcius . what update are you referring to?
Oscar I have the previous head unit which doesn't have the buttons and is all touch display. Do you know how I can update the previous head unit version?
@@jasonperez5343 its a generic android update for android radios usually contact the seller to see if they even have a update available but i dont even have that gen tsx anymore to be able to tell you and this new one is running the latest android so there is no update
No hate on these Amazon units. But man they are buggy, I’ve seen so many issues with the a/c and fan controls. Go with the metra dash kit (comes with a/c and fan controls) and buy a nice double din head unit. Just my personal opinion. Good luck!
@@jessew7978 I bought this exact one and couldn’t be happier. Never had a problem with the AC controls or anything else. The only thing I couldn’t make work was torque app but not a big deal for me as I have a professional scan tool. Plus, I personally think the metra AC controls look like ass. Too bad they’re not better looking like theses manufacturers
Does your air flow thru the vents, cut in and out? Mine started doing this a few months ago, it will cut in and out sometimes when I start driving it.....sometimes letting off the gas, it makes it blow high and then when I accelerate, it cuts the fan low.....

The wires, you need the 4 little pin wires connected or it will not work and if you dont have that harness ask the seller to send it or they will never work or make sure theyre plugged in good if you do have the correct harness
@@oscar_cu2 thank you, that worked ! Idk bout yours but my a/c blows really strong even when I have it at the lowest setting. Setting 1 feels like it is on 3. Are you experiencing that? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

@@oscar_cu2 I went ahead and ordered the metra kit for 230, I already had a pioneer from my g35 and I don't want to wait a month for shipping and the main complaints are problems with amps and cracked screens
Interested in one of these tablet radios for my TSX, but I have a few questions... 1) Do these radios bypass the factory amplifier, or is it still used? 2) The TSX has 6 speakers (front doors, rear doors, and rear deck)... Do all 6 speakers still work? If so, can the rear deck speakers be adjusted independently of the rear doors? 3) Have you figured out how to display the external temp? Thanks in advance
1-still used 2-yes all 6 work i have heard some people say the rear woofers don't but they do for mine and they can be adjusted in many ways 3-and external temp doesnt work on this unit unfortunatley only the 4g version
I love this radio. The only thing keeping me from buying one is the fact that I will lose the functionality of my 6x9 speakers. If there is a way around this then I'm game.
@@nasimwehbe8410 all of the audio from the head unit is routed through the factory amp so it will reach the 6x9 speakers in the rear deck. I just checked my 6x9’s again and they’re running fine.
@@vando1267 thanks bro. Just when I asked the seller they said I would lose that functionality, because it had no subwoofer support. They said the 6x9 are considered factory subs. I want to keep my factory speakers since the car will eventually be a race car. No need for a big booming system. Neways thank you. Think ibwill be buying one now.
