@@Rcprescription that’s what it’s all about. The RC Elf started this whole RC Family and it just keeps getting bigger. The support we all give each other keeps the hobby going, gives us a bit of rivalry like this, and most importantly, makes friends for life from folks who we may or may not ever meet. The support of each other in the RC COMMUNITY is absolutely like no other. Our car for example is the car the community built. I couldn’t have done this without the support of the RC family here on RU-vid, and I’m extremely grateful for that 😁
The car looks awesome! BUT… I feel like you might have too much aluminum in front.. my fear is the car will “tap” the curb and parts will bend and or break.. the adjustment shaft for the front uppers is the weak point.. just a heads up bud 👍
Thank you brother!… I almost gave up and put the stock back on… we will see what it does… it still may go back and I’ll save those parts for another project!…👍
Nice! Hopefully they help! I decided to only lock the front for now…. Let me know if locking both helps…. I’m hoping it dries up here today so I can get a run too.. lol
@@Rcprescription I had an epiphany and I think my problem is that I put 2 o rings in each cup for the driveshaft so it doesn’t move fore and aft and I think it’s too tight and pushing against the bevel gears causing incorrect mesh against the diffs, I dunno but I’ll find out shortly. Got new bevel gears that should be here today in case I need em.
Average time on videos is always lower than you think. Its caused by people just watching for a few seconds and others do watch longer. It does feel horrid I used to think the same, just look at just the views and watched time for the last 28 days. After market parts are brilliant but also full of issues at times, so an extra washer was the problem. Those upper adjustable arms will be good for drift setting after the speed run is over and all you will need is a set of drift wheels. It took a long time but worth it in the end.
Yea… I figure it’s people clicking in and out…. This thing did put up a fight! Drift is a good idea when this is done! Didn’t think of that! Thank you for watching and the comments I really appreciate it. And I watch yours all the way through too.👍
@@Rcprescription Building/tinkering videos are enjoyable to watch and they do help others. Plus its nice to comment and give ideas either good or annoying 🙂
hahaha that for sure is my friend... Thats awesome.. Your just lucky I didn't get out today to extend that lead buddy hahha.. Seriously bud thanks for the shouts. Looking good I have the same cups and have spares for your cvd if ya need brother.. Just lt me know.. Great vid don't worry about time watched the guys that watch all are few and far between just front load the important stuff.. Dirk and Iowa are awesome Good guys.. Talk soon bud..
@@Rcprescription Nice bud I am going out in the morning we are hitting the lego store then a new place to run cross your fingers bud.. Gratz on teh PB hope I can catch it.. Side note mail call going up in 30 I kinda spill the beans on tt02b thing call ya out a bit haha..
Thank you brother! I appreciate that…. I have found that true also. Tamiya stuff seems the best. But it also seems to be a crap shoot in others… some yeah racing stuff is great… other stuff just don’t work…. Thanks for commenting and I find you quite entertaining as well…😂🤜🤛👍
So I ordered 4 on eBay right mostly because they came with a Tamiya center drive shaft, these actually work perfect in the rear but man!! They had the front bound up bad, wouldn’t turn, suspension wouldn’t move up and down hardly. It was a mess…😳
Nice video that sucks you have to use all the same parts to get everything to work. Hope the car goes straight after all that. I’ll be sending you an email to do a sticker swap
Love Tamiya BUUUUT!!! Cars with the belt drive are much better reliable stronger faster more efficient in energy use and much smoother. Tamiya uses too much plastic making products weaker. Sorry!
It’s all good. Everyone likes what they like, I have many rc cars, some good some not so much. This is a speed contest with a bunch of other guys. Poorboys rc is hosting it and is the one who picked the car. It’s been a fun project and believe it or not it is crazy tough.
