great video, I raced sidecars back in the 70s as a passenger and a driver with a MGF 750 BSA, as a passenger rode with Trever Ireson Denis Keene and Larry Walker, when I rode with Trevor he had the 680 Konig outfit, we won at the Transatlantic race at Oulton park, in the days when I raced in the chair we use to get out at the front of the outfit on the left and lay flat on the straight with our legs out the back I'm almost 80 years old now and I still miss it, I still remember the Buzz,
Imagine if you were an unwilling passenger on one of these, trussed up so you literally have this view flying along and there was nothing you could do?!? , I dont think 'terror' would quite cover it somehow. Saw a ladys comment on the TT somewhere on RU-vid saying these riders were 'real men'......if this is manhood you can keep it. Obviously say that with nothing but admiration and awe to these boys....you are fkin BADASSES!!

LOL I Watched this with my Dad. When I spouted up so the most difficult job was that of a Passenger. i was definatley scowled at. Guys and Gals Sidecar racing is absolute Team Work. Knowing the Track, Bike,Engine,Driver. My Mum never let me be a passenger for my Dad in his Sidecar days. I dont blame her really These days in my late 50s I am saying to my 86 year old Dad FFS slow down meanwhile whilst he is my passenger in my little car, He says FFS Slow down. It obvious niether one of of us are very good at being passengers. I thank my Dads Passengers from Sidecar Days Dave Bean and Mick Casey. a passenger is very often an unsung hero in sidecar racing and can be the making or breaking of a British Champion, A TT trophy or just a fastest lap somewhere.

get into a club,approach some drivers and speak with them maybe take a track day,apply for your B licence and all requirements....ask around and check on internet,ie competition licence applications etc
Occasionally clubs host "taxi rides" in which you have a go for a few laps as a passenger. It can cost anywhere from £15 plus and you need proper gear, one piece, boots etc
I really wish you would show the co-pilot and his positioning. When I become a co-pilot and smoke all you fools I'm going to show a real "how to " video.
