Side Note* Just to mention this is a "base" I would say to enjoy a more slower paced game of football. Of course everyone has their own preferences so if you want it a bit quicker, crank up the pass speed or try out normal game speed. Also remember different leagues have different standards so once again, play around with what you feel comfortable with. There is potential here so I'll keep updating the sliders etc as the season draws on 👌 FIFAs engine doesnt really enable a complete sim folks but i've found this is the best way to enjoy the game personally myself after coming from FUMA on PES. Turn those assists off, pull your hair out and try and score an absolute gem! *The video rendered kind of jittering in parts, not sure why but you still get the point, enjoy!*
Ngl I've played a few games on full manual alongside the realistic slider details you have provided in your previous video! And it's actually the closest I've seen fifa as a simulation!
Thanks mate. Efootball is really buggy at the moment but I encourage you to try to learn it’s gameplay. In my opinion, it is the most manual online game I ever played (football). I feel like fifa 22 was slower on it’s 10 hour trial version
if your opponent is playing with manual controls too then you can do this no problem. on assisted the computer helps you way too much. when you can pass across the field blindly without really aiming it's natural that the gameplay is gonna be ridiculous.
It was my birthday the other day and my partner bought me fifa 22 because she had seen how disappointed I was with efootball. I have to say I’ve been enjoying it so far. Although I don’t think it’s fifa that I’m enjoying its more the change that I’m enjoying. I have to say the presentation and attention to detail is incredible though.
Fifa lacks the randomness for me that makes pes (and real football) so thrilling. Everything just feels as if it's on tracks. When you play a game of pes you feel as if anything could happen.
Once you play 3 or 4 games you have pretty much done everything the match engine had to offer! You automatically know if your gonna win a header etc before the ball gets near lol
That’s a ridiculous thing to say because PES is even less predictable. You’re forced to pass, pass, pass on PES, everybody plays the same way. You can barely even dribble on it. I’ve played PES and FIFA every single year for years and years and FIFA 100% has more randomness/unpredictability to it, FIFA plays far more fluidly and it’s faster.
Everyone give Fifa a try or find a new game genre to enjoy. ( Coming from a Pes fan since 2004) because Konami have totally mugged us off. The audacity to port a mobile game to next Gen consoles after feeding us lies for 2 years is unforgivable.
In 2000 I managed to get all my mates to change from fifa to pes! They only had to play one game, imagine trying to do that now. Totally agree that we have been mugged off.
Cant get myself to get FIFA. Been with PES since 2005. I'm still suspicious about EA. They may soon patch the gameplay. Will continue my PES 2017 league in Serie B for now.
really a shame about the lack of cpu fouls. Would be nice to get a free kick attempt on goal once in a while. I haven't even seen the free kick interface yet after like 15 games.
Played in my QPR career mode tonight with these sliders and had some cracking matches, really loved the slowed gameplay forcing to focus on build up and more mid field play, I do however use semi on the passing and shot because I happen to like the EAsports game cam and I feel like semi eliminates the frustration when the camera is angled, but all and all awesome stuff as always 😎⚽️🤘🏻
Although FIFA is an "arcade-sim", at least it does that in a decent way. eFootball, which tries to be a "realistic-sim", makes it terrible and almost unplayable due to so many bugs and trimmed features.
When I put myself through playing it defenders were running away from the forwards when a through ball was played. By the time you had control of your player you could never catch up. They got rid of player lD but even the stats didn't seem to mean anything, if you player is faster than the opponents and he's through on goal you'd always gets caught up. The worst thing us you can feel it.
It's about time I saw someone put the game speed settings on Slow. Makes the game a lot more realistic and enjoyable through gameplay. Too fast on the other speeds makes it unreal and unpleasant to the eyes. You done the right thing here TTB. That's the speed I use all the time.
You absolute legend mate. Omg it makes this game so much better lol actually not a bad game considering it's fifa haha. Love your vids mate, keep up the good work
I can't believe it took you this long to realise FIFA can be played as a simulation.....its not like EA added in all these options in 21 or 22. having said that , great video ; nice to see someone playing the game in its purest form.
In career mode as a manager you get lots of injuries including from training so increasing your injury rate lol you will be left without a good squad of people The injuries are mostly are between weeks and months which is quite long And there are players who have injury prone as their traits
@@nqubenhlengwenya4381 I haven’t got a single injury we’re you get emailed about how long so I’m going to use these sliders and make the frequency 90 and severity 70
Years ago I came over to Pes because I saw one of your modding tutorials and I never looked back… Can’t believe I’m crawling back to FIFA with my tail tucked! 😩
Same exept I played it like this since fifa 19 or 20 dunno anymore. And this year it's great actually. It feels good on PS5. I use OG's new sliders. So the updated ones from the one in this vid.
In terms of gameplay, I remember trying out women's football in FIFA. And it played pretty well, better than the normal gameplay with men. For some reason I felt the pace of the game and the ball was a lot better. But I dont know if that's still the case.
I have played fifa for years but this is the first time I have played like this and just to be clear I am not playing on manual but this is really fun I have had a blast playing like this
The pace looks like PES21. Good video. Ill save it for when I buy FIFA22 in a promo. E-Football was a mistake, I dont believe they will correct. It will be better, but I doubt the game will be good.
Have you tried FIFA 17? I played FIFA 22 today then tried FIFA 17 which I hadn’t played in a couple years and I was shocked. It’s 10 times better than 22. It looks better(not the cut scenes or close up of player faces, but the gameplay looks much better) it feels better, the AI is so much better, the defense is amazing. No skating. Really the best football game EA has done.
Great video Ricky! Very insightful as always! :) p.s. for the video rendering, it may be best to just unplug everything and then re-connect it all, it might help a bit :) all the best!
These are fantastic I have certain assists on as I play in division 2 as Salford. These sliders work fab. Only had a friendly and won 2-1 much more realistic. Passes and threw balls go where they are suppose to. Love it. Can’t wait to start my second season in career mode.
Konami worked 2 years on a game to gain market share from fifa , little did they know fifa was refining its gameplay and ended up attracting pes players this year with this new gameplay.
Me & my mate used to play on full manual now and then in co-op online on fifa when it had lobbies. It was always a good laugh especially since you miss a lot of sitters, but coming up against the better players we would always have to switch back to assisted. Good times lol
I agree with everything you say. Everyone wants to play fast pace, and they all say they want a realistic football sim and these folks are playing like they are playing arcade. They will complain that it’s too slow, they want META players and META skills and tactics and all that. You see the problem? It’s the community. That’s why I’ve been trying to find custom sliders so that I can play full manual.
I like this. I have been doing something similar for a long time with all FIFA. EA should implement an option with realistic sliders for people who want to simulate real soccer and that can be played online. There should be an arcade option (normal FIFA) and another simulation option (SLIDERS SIMULATION).
Yes near post goals where a big problem in the beta too,the devs where made aware mate. Ive switched to full manual with these sliders and I’m really enjoying Fifa. Cant believe I’m saying it but its a fun game for the most part.
A big problem I have on Fifa is the defenders block every shot easily in the box on manual, They seem much wider in interception radius than Pes defenders where you can usually get a shot off abit easier
I'm also thinking about going back to FIFA since PES is dead now (and eFootball is dogshit). The default FIFA gameplay is awful, however the presentation and graphics of everything is top class. Hopefully, with these sliders we can get a more realistic gameplay experience. Also as PES players we tend to forget that FIFA can also be modded heavily (PC version). Hopefully with these mods we can get a gameplay experience somewhat close to PES 2021.
I switched to Fifa 22 after 20 odd years of PES, and until Konami sort themselves out or EA gets more decent competition, I’d say Fifa 22 can indeed be tweaked into a worthy PES substitute, much to my surprise actually. Me and my mates have been laying down great 2v2 couch matches lately, without the screaming and cursing that the last iterations of PES caused by wonky AI, constant fouling and balancing issues. It’s with a heavy heart that I reminisce on the golden days of PS2 era PES, but at least for the time being, as long as Fifa 22 doesn’t get tweaked to a wreck, there’s a solid footy to tide us over and with the added benefit of a nice front end as well. One of the few incomprehensible things about Fifa 22 though, is that apparently it doesn’t let you save player and match settings in local multiplayer, which is effin’ beyond me. Plus, on the international side(s) of things, there’s a LOT of countries missing and Fifa 22 doesn’t let you set up a European of World Cup tournament because EA of course will want to sell you a World Cup edition as a standalone game of through paid DLC.
I enjoy fifa until the skating animations make me go insane. It’s hard to play a simulation style when players look like they’re running on ice. It does look better with this settings , I don’t see that much skating in this video
The problem with Manual Passes is (both in fifa and pes) that when a pass is between two players the AI is not sure which player to choose to receive and many a times it chooses the wrong one. Which also inturn stuns the other player with no movement. As these games are not built on the fact to be played manually. I play with semi everything. I know how yo play manual but semi helps in the AI choosing right reciever and movements off the ball
Haven’t played for many years. When I did I got to div 1 online with full manual against assisted players was a lot of fun very rewarding. It’s doable. 👍
I've been playing Squad Battles on Ultimate Team (vs CPU). I love World Class difficulty but anything above that is just egregious. Not only does the other team play like 11 Messi's, it makes your players slower and make more mistakes. It's unfortunate that they gimp your team to feign difficulty.
Nice that’s all we want. A more realistic, slower paced FIFA. But no, they’ll patch it faster cuz of fast paced arcade kids. Hope this will last. Thanks.
But the Gameplay of FIFA looks Awful just like the previous versions 🤔...this doesn't even feel very SIM...I'm gonna wait and see 'IF' Konami can actually fix Efootball 2022 😂
Very cool video, TTB. This looks very sim like and slow just the way I like it. But I have heard horror stories that the eSports crowd will start complaining and FIFA will get patched and then it will resume its Arcady madness. Also TTB do watch out for FIFER realistic gameplay mods. Sounds very promising and maybe can counter FIFA's patches in coming months. I have not played FIFA since 06. Have been playing PES since then. So I'm jittery on making the switch. I wont spend $45 on FIFA. Will wait for a sale. Currently am playing Serie B on my modded PES 2017 (which is the best PES for offline CPU AI play) and am playing full manual. And i'm loving it. Passing is filled with tension. So many stupid mistakes and u can make passes that i simply never knew was possible. When u get the ball, you need to think on what is the best course of action. No more pinging passes and playing like peak Xavi Barca every game! Full manual is the way to go! Will continue this for few months and get FIFA on sale. Let's see.
I never understood why EA put the power bar so slow. I play in 70 as well. You can put AI pass 20 down to the player, somehow it always is faster and causes that (20:43) ridiculous pinball effect.
Previous Fifa's world class difficulty is a decent level, i play on legendary to start then move up to ultimate i'm use to the coding and reading the CPU not manual tho but been struggling stopping the CPU score which is a good thing as it's a challenge..Previous Fifa's got bored quickly because the CPU were very easy to beat...EA has definitely done something good to CPU coding imo.
So i set this up on fifa 22 career mode. I realized how “efootball” controller setting got so similar to fifa. Pes controller was much different. I will play fifa this year since fifa seems better than efootball. And see if konami can bring back pes controller system
I like to mess around with the base sliders during career mode, mostly with the goalkeeper sliders because I hate it when a “70 odd rated” goalkeeper turns into prime yashin.
OG has new sliders they're great it doesn't feel skatey then. Also I do it on world class with player based difficulty on. Ow yeah and the game speed to slow. It really feels good now in comparison to previous years. It's improved a lot. I love the slow pace with the improved sliders now and gameplay slow and also I play on manual. It's difficult but I love it.
This is slow paced. I'd say too slow paced. 20 Passing is just too low imo. Look at the way the play in pro football games, their passing is actually quite fast and accurate. Try: Shoot Speed: 48 Pass speed: 40 Shot error: 66 Pass error: 59/60
@@samuelhargis9930 i changed it to 64 btw, allows for better longshots the game is actually realistic that way, as every footballer in free space should challenge the keeper
