Look facts are folks, EAFC is a decent arcade game. I never really classed FIFA as sim but its definitely losing all that jazz now and just focusing on quick, fast back and forth gameplay. What do you guys make of it?!
Same FIFA. However, I liked how they add a little every year to career mode. They are progressing a tiny bit instead of regressing. They need a new engine for sure. Bottom line don't waste your money on it. They added tatics and you can hire coaches to help train players faster.
I'm doing a bari save on my channel I think it alright better first touches and better shooting techniques I also liked how was raining in a match I played it felt realistic as ball was moving very slow on pitch with rain on it graphics are great Im not good at defending on the game but I say it better then fifa 23 but efootball 24 gameplay better just dream team gets boring playing same god squads and crybabies on there quiting when they losing I think if done right ufl could be better then both them I'm intrigued about ufl did they invite u to play the game on there testing day for game

Man this game need some serious improvements on pc There are a lot of stuttering and frame drops in cuts scenes and even the menu although my pc is gtx1660ti and fifa 23 was buttery smooth on this on ultra 1080p But this game stutters a lot even on medium settings 😫
Bought ea play for $1 last night just to try it after weeks of my friends bugging me to buy it so we could play clubs. Opened the game, went to edit player to take a look at the player models, went to practice arena for 5 minutes then played 10 minutes of a kickoff match before I closed the game and uninstalled it. One of the most lifeless and unrewarding games I've ever played and doesn't resemble real life football in any way when it comes to the gameplay.
Lifeless. That's the exact word. Controlling the players is like controlling dead bodies or puppets on strings. players move very weird. That's the basic of the game. If THIS is wrong all the rest doesn't matter.
EA's animations? They don't even look real, just smooth. To me Konami's animations look way more realistic, it's just not as smooth. The only two things EA's game is good at is the crowd, presentation and maybe game modes but everything else sucks.
Having played it myself with very very low expectations, it really wasnt as bad as I thought. Yes the skating is still there, they have great animations but too many times weird things happen with them, thats a shame, but the gameplay isnt as bad as you might think. If you set it to slow game speed, adjust the sliders a little bit, its a whole different game than you see online. The bugs with slow game speed are fixed, so it works very well now. Teams play different from eachother, no game is the same, that really stood out to me. You can have very decent buildup play, and the AI does too. The AI tries various things to break you down, they also sometimes explode past you, which was a surprise to me as they never did that in previous iterations. Ball physics work pretty nicely too. Presentation of course is very nice, apart from the removal from entrance cinematics etc. Tbh, I suggest you get EA Play Pro for 4 euros, download it and try it, but so set the game to slow and adjust sliders a little bit. I am using OS sliders with some customization of my own. I still like efootballs gameplay more, although that has a lot of issues too, but theres just nothing to do, and to be honest, this is the best to play if you want to do something like a career mode. It really did surprise me as my expectations were on the floor. @TheTrueBrits, if you read this, just give it a try. 4 euros doesnt hurt. Maybe youll be as surprised as me. Also keep in mind, all these videos you see online dont play manual. I do, and naturally you play slower too
but the football fundamentals, you know that you can win every match, just don't run and keep the cpu chasing u behind ur back, the other cpu won't anticipate

Unfortunately he won’t he’s very biased in his hatred to FIFA and i understand it to a degree where EA FC is a cash grab and want ppl to only play online UT mode ,but the reality is theirs just no interesting Football simulation outside of EA FC if a game like 2K who does the NBA game would get a deal whit FIFA in a year or 2 they would destroy EA football games but EA has the total control but E football is a joke and it’s not interesting to still be playing the PES that’s basically like pes 20or 21 whit updated rosters like at some point the game gets played out,but for sure EA FC whit proper sliders makes it playable

I think i understand the way football games "meant to be played", like you. And im 100% with you. football games has made a changed. Bad changes? For an offline player, yes. I dont like Fifa. Im 38 years old and I play football games since ISS Pro Evolution in Ps1, with my father. We play together in the same team since Ps1 to actually in Pc. He is 60 years old, and we actually are playing efootball!! From 7 years ago to now we were 150 kilometers separated,but still playing together.(thanks to Konami I discover Parsec...) And this is the only way i think that online is a good "thing" in football games. The possibility to play together with someone far away. With someone that you've been playing 25 years, every month, every week. Online makes these possible. But i think like you. Microtransactions not the way for purely offline players. We NEED a Master League, a very good Master Leaguer, we deserve it.. A lot of years sharing moments with someone like a father and playing Master League mode 25 years, every year. Konami has a DEBT with all of us that play this game too many years ago. But money is the king, not the Master League!!

I was playing master league in Fifa 20 when I noticed that there is a kinda of scripting to the matches before I knew that scripting was a thing. I remember myself saying to my little brother that I think they implement certain scripts to master league and to the matches. Then I found your channel, and through your critique I discovered flaws in the game that didn't exist even in Pes 2015. This is why Pes has always been superior. The core mechanics of fifa are just bad. But if you see the core mechanics of old pes games, you'll notice that the devs were clearly aiming for realism and simulation. I stopped playing fifa because I can't stand it no more, I still have hope in Konami, even though efootball rn looks like it's still in beta mode. But I'm sure when they open up the game in the second half of 2024, the game will gain so much momentum with the mods and stuff, and I'l sure that the master league will be so fun and rewarding.
I agree 100% with everything you've said. Unfortunately we do not have proper offline football games anymore. The last good I've played was PES 2020 (ans season update 2021.) and I would pay full price for that game right now if it is available on Xbox,but it is not😢. Efootball is somewhat fine (when it comes to the gameplay) but having only online mode is really becoming boring.
Tried it last night via Xbox EA play trial. Found it really easy to score or concede , every match finishes with ridiculous scores like 8-5 , 7-6 etc A bit too fast as well
Iv just played the trial for a few hours n it's a shame, there are so many good things about this game , I really enjoyed the match experience it shows the crowd n cutscenes of the players in the dressing room n the replays are really cool. But it's just the game play feels like I'm playing rocket league on ice .
Got rid of champions league anthem and intro, a bit disappointing to say the least,now like any other match..was a skip button but not enough for people these days content creators fault for that
I’ve tried playing full manual since you’ve mentioned it on efootball. Its quite difficult and takes getting used to, but its definitely more fulfilling and opens up the play style alot more
Arcade pinball circus fake bubble gum football without substance with many rugby scores 9-5 8-4 etc lol ...they try to approach the Pes gameplay feeling,they also took some older Pes animations, but overall it îs a ping pong mediocrity ...too fixed,too precise, you don't need to know how to move and hit the ball,the ball îs sticked by The players, all the matches feels the same

There’s no options atm. Sliders can help make the gameplay somewhat better. I am a massive fan of efootball, but what they done with master league is just pathetic. I still play pes22 on PC, and got mods and everything over 500gb. After a few seasons of master league it just gets boring.. like proper boring.
Eafc is a game. Games are for fun. Ppl like myself and yourself can use the sliders and realism patches for a better experience on these games. Depends on how you the individual wanna play the game….still yet to see a game with perfect graphics.
We'll just have to wait another year for something...man, what a depressing era to be a football gamer (it's worse if you consider 2023 as one of the best years in gaming)
Presentation, authentic broadcast feels, replays, cutscenes, graphics = Awesome. Gameplay = skatiness galore. And the low level of graphics detail during actual gameplay makes it look like a PS3 era game in action. Replays and cutscenes look great though with high detail. But yeah the gameplay experience is just not right, I find the gameplay almost silly looking.
You guys are bashing fifa or EA while konami couldnt bother giving you a full game..EA Fc is a still not perfect but is much better then FIFA 23. So many elements that need to be fixed but all in all a much better game. The people who comment "i downloaded it and tried it and deleted it " " is such a lie, you didnt try it. if you tried it, you would notice, defending is more difficult, its more manual, the passing is harder, you just writing it as a pes fanboy. There is no genuine comment in here, its just fifa/ea fc vs pes/efootball fanboys crying about which game is better.
Totally agree. Tried the 10hours trial and i left after one. No midfield, no feelings of football. It’s not a football game, it’s a gamed that uses football as a skin to sell cards I play pes 21 on console and still enjoy it
I’m like you. I gave up on FIFA. It’s not realistic. And I agree with you, I want something that resembles actual football not this end to end crap that is like basketball on ice skates. Nothing beats a player/AI building up slowly and passing the ball in midfield for 10-12 passes before trying a through ball or shot that may not lead to a chance or opportunity
3:42 I agree 100% and yet, I bought the ultimate edition anyway.. because they just have better overall content.. I may only play a few games a week, but I can spend hours on sbcs and doing all the objectives etc, where with Efootball, I play 2, maybe 3 or 4 games, beat the offline objectives .. and then I am so bored I fall asleep basically playing the game.. I have now vowed to spend nothing on Efootball as I already have 250 players and nothing has changed.. It is really sad. I wish I had a computer so I can play football life like you.. but I dont..

i'm on the same boat with you. i dont undertand with people who always says that ea/ fifa is a simulation football game. dribble not realistic, running is like running on the top of ice etc. still the same shit from fifa 17.
Talk also about Fifa using 1 vs 1 gameplay, means if a cpu is marking ur player and u pass by another cpu player, he will just keep watching u, and that is an online gamplay
I'm waiting for Football Life 2024 then i will start a full manual Master League. I've played FUMA for like 3 seasons on PES21, it wasn't easy at all at first and i think i was even sacked but it is really rewarding once you get used to it.
What people need to realise is what the trend is among AAA games at the oment. The games are all optimised to sell to the biggest amount of people. In order for that to happen, the games have to be as easy to pick up as possible with the least amount of obstacles for the average player to have fun and to feel good. Games like these are not marketed for top end players who want to push the skill ceiling and wat to get as good as possible. They are built for the 20-80% of the players in the middle of the bellcurve which is why they become fast paced and mindless. Most of the budget goes into marketing and adding shine and flash to the product rather than into deep, cohesive, and intimate gameplay. Every single AAA franchise that hit its height around 2010 has gone down this road now. Stop expecting the good old days to return. Those products are no longer marketed to you. The good thing about being on PC is that you have Steam and access to so many indie developers who are trying to make a name for themselves. Stop wasting your money on garbage. The penny dropped for me over the 8 years that I played Rainbow Six Siege and saw the competitive scene get constantly ignored in favour of the casual scene that generated way more oney for Ubisoft.
You definitely has infuenced me to switch to manual and I'll never go back. Hope one day Efootball will have master league or another good sim football game will come along.
I don’t disagree with you Ricky, but I think you have to acknowledge that there’s almost nothing EA can do at this point to change your mind. I bought EA Play for $1.99 and have been playing EA FC24 for a bit. Here’s what I found (I only play career mode, hate FUT) 1) computer AI now attempts shots from well outside the box vs just trying to move the ball into the box every time 2) goalkeeper and players animations make the game at least look more realistic 3) most of the football boots don’t look like bowling or clown shoes 4) responsiveness is 100% better than eFootball where passing the ball to your intended target harder than it should be, and players move around the pitch like they’re running in quick sand 5) the level of customization from team tactics, to player roles, etc is almost limitless I could go on, but my point is this. I love football games. Would I prefer that there was less skating in FIFA? Absolutely. But we basically have 2 game options right now. And right now, despite the eFootball improvements I don’t find it as much fun as EAFC.
It's a card collecting game with elements of gambling addiction in it. Where winning is the only thing that matters. People quit at 0-0 so often and pass round the back instead of playing
There is a action when you hit L1&L2 u don't hit da ball its to move around the ball I think that's what he did.... I put the match on slow and I love that tempo it doesn't feel bad... ur so right about assists I hate it.... but L1L2 makes u move around the ball without touching it. I love the slower speed better than default just played a few hours but so far it's ok
during August i got an email, and invite to play the closed beta of FC 24, so i had a go at it, i couldn't make out too much difference to last years version, but this beta was very unstable. too often, the controller would stop working, or it would go to a cut scene, and i could not escape out of, and i had to end task, so i didn't play it much
The biggest issue EA FC has is the lack of competition. Ever since PES has been killed of and buried the incentive for true development and improvements has completely vaporised. This is what happened to all the franchises that lack a real competitor. Just look at the reviews of recent NHL, NBA 2K of Madden games. If only Konami would reconsider their current strategy.
you are correct they get content creators to give them advice. But in my opinion and i only watch two serious content creators they only tell the devs negative stuff reguarding career mode

I agree with you. I wish there was an independed developer like Dino Dini, creating a football game with some kind of learning curve. That dribbling you showed, was a farce, clown-ish stuff. Imagine if the players had not the ball sticky to their feet like glue. That would make harder to be so ridiculous with the ball. But that defender was an absolute clown roaming around. I don't know if it was a player or AI, but it was hilarious and horrible to watch in the same time. eFootball at least feels like it has physics in play. FIFA feels more floaty when players have the ball. Everything else in FIFA is top, compared to eFootball, but the game mechanics and physics need to be made from scratch in my opinion, or at least reworked deeply.
Icl I’m struggling to find a balanced experience on legendary. All my players feel nerfed. The Ai play like a team from FUT. Dnt get me started on the goalkeeping🤣. But I shamelessly endulge😅
I seen some videos i saved from pes 2016 and id forgotten the incredibly complex, intricate passing moves i could put together in that game. It felt like if i could think it, i could do it. The freedom to play the football i wanted to play was fantastic. I played this game the other day. And it was, through ball. Goal. Through ball. Goal. Through ball. Goal. This was on the hardest difficulty and i was wrexham. Yet i was battering teams leagues above me 8-2, 6-1 etc. It requires no imagination or tactical nous at all. Goalkeepers may as well not be there. Defenders may as well be manaquins you use to set up free kick practice or cones to walk around. The football feels glued to the players and moves in unnatural ways when its being dribbled. Because i dont have to work for the goals due to all this nonsense, there is no satisfaction here. I dont know where the enjoyment comes from. Im baffled that this game sells so well.
Great points my fellow Floridian. Just as most people will have different views on presidents, body count, food, and places to live...we have a preference for gaming. Your points are valid and many in the PES community share it. As someone who grew with FIFA, it's what I prefer. Just buy what you like and enjoy! Variety is the spice of life. We are so alike 😅. I don't care of I lose , as long as it was a nice game without bugs and f..... scripting. That's just the problem with ef24. All that shitty passing is killing the gameplay. I like to play nice like real football without that stupid long balls and always same tricks to score. Fifa24 same shit just netter content!! P.s passing lever 1and2 will make just random passes and always there where you don't want them. On level 3 all too slow and players just waiting for the ball instead of running towards it. Also the best level to see the script because on 3 when you press full power sometimes the pass goes like 2m only 😂
I wanted to test it on the early access as it was only £0.79. I was losing 3-2. It got to the 91st minute and I was trying to pass to my winger…..the AI like took over and made about 3 unbelievable pro level passes that I didn’t even see, made my striker 1 on 1 and I scored a 93rd minute equaliser. I couldn’t even be happy about it as I(the player) had nothing to do with it 😂.
Even in a captivity condition with a weapon pointed to my head, i wouldn't play this game. I prefer to play efootball 2024 offline: Inter vs Milan for years, A much better choice. By the way , Are we going to have some paid content this year : PC? PS5? I'll be the first one to Purch it...
Let all football games have no assist so we're all on the same playing level and it would give more enjoyment and the lovers of the beautiful game can enjoy nearly as much realism as the real thing
Only football game available with any modes this year. I’ll be playing it up until the next football life release and maybe past then with matt10’s sliders. Of course it has bugs but for 39 pounds on CDKeys it will have to be the football game I play for this year since PES is dead and e football has decent gameplay but absolutely nothing to do. Sports Gaming has fallen off but FC24 will do until next year I guess

I don't mind it actually. It feels a fair bit slower than last year and the defending is less manual. I'm completely bored of efootball which is just a mobile card collecting game.
@@delayedcreator4783 I doubt that very much. I've always been a Pes player but the game is just boring now. I've got to division 1 multiple times and now there's nothing else to do. You don't even get any rewards for getting a good ranking. All Konami care about is people spending money on cards.

Consumer wants it maybe 10% of for a base play career mode..checked for eafc last night,all I seen was content creators playing ultimate team Cards etc..only Goldbridge seen play career..I play offline my friends brother in eafc and E football..miss older games unfortunately their gone.
With sliders and on slow pace, it is pretty good in my opinion. PES gameplay is decent but the graphics are shocking which I can’t get past, especially in 2023.
Right, like FC24 looks awful but then so did fifa 23 because you tubers often play the default gameplay. I think the games completely different when u slow it down & adjust things

Realistically, we have no choice, eshitball is disastrous while there is no other competitive game on the market, I will play bit of ea fc and lots of fm 24 (EA FC is fine with sliders!)
