I've come to the dregs of my random footage of my many TTC trip videos. I had a couple of short clips too small to make a whole RU-vid posting of and a long boring one taken through a dirty window often times into the sun! That's what I call the dregs but I believe that I've now put online just about every foot of video tape I've ever shot on the Toronto Transit Commission back in the day! Yea!

Hold up, was that a H4 pair coupled to 2 H6 pairs?
@warrior1697
@warrior1697 5 лет назад
Greeny Yep! Back in the days they use to couple up various model cars together. I miss those days so much.

I think those are H5s(Depending which one you are speaking about, the 1st train or the 2nd train)
@Greeism
@Greeism Год назад
@@UhackUdieThose are H6s (I was asking about the first train featured in the video)! Note the vents on the lower half of the side walls which are absent on the H5 👀 The second train appears to be made up of two H5s and an H1/2

That train you took from Bloor stn to Eglinton stn, was that a Gloucester train? It looks like it judging how big of a gap it is from the last car to the station entry

I don't know what kind of train it was and when I review the original footage, I find that I don't take a single forward shot of the train for some reason, weird!
@warrior1697
@warrior1697 5 лет назад
lvalledor3440 Yes, it was the good Ol Red Gloucester train, I can tell judging by the clicking sound and the gap in the stn platforms lol

That Bloor-Eglinton footage was a H1 train as u can tell by the train hum and brake noises. G train brakes were way louder than what u hear on this Video. Another dead giveaway that this was a H1 was the backlit ad fixtures that u can see in the reflection of the glass. G train has incadecent light down the ceiling closer to the middle of the aisle This woulda been a Sunday when they ran shorter 4 car trains due to lower ridership as these were the days b4 Sunday shopping when transit was actually quiet on Sundays unlike now. This practice stopped by the early '90s.

no, it wasn't a product of the GRC&W's...even after their rebuilds, their only attribute that sounded like their darling! CO/CP or R Stock cousins back overseas was their air compressor, and I'm afraid we just aren't overhearing one here...the click bait title ol' undie made me suspect this upload feature some of them...the other clue is that they weren't running 6-car units back then, only 8-car ones that were dispatched weekday peak hours

Ahh before woodbine had the permanent odour of rotten eggs that's so bad you can taste it. I personally gag and start dry heaving. It's super weird, & happens every time. Thank God now I have to wear mask, makes it tolerable. Lol

oof! you're reminding me of yet another cinge-inducing attribute thereabouts, when crinkingly swiveling your pinnas away from the impending whistle shrills, otherwise your hearing'd be ringing for the remainder of your outing there...dumpy Ton-o-rot, Corporateria's sprawling lakeside swampiness there ever more PAINFULLY hard on the eyes........

Sure ttc subway system isnt my most fave subway system. However I did grew up with it so I kind of have a heart for it. It crazy how many different fleets were on the subway routes. Now it's just very few T1s and all TRs.
