Not at all. Buffer make function to reduce vibration of spring. How come comment about life of spring😅

I’ve been using this product for 4 years. It works well and absorb so much vibration.

FYI this product is made by urethane and some brand made it from silicone & rubber. So it is elastic not hard so it wont damage anything.

Thanks and happy to hear good result come out after installation. Generally speaking, location of buffer would be middle layer of coil spring but that's depend on nomal coil spring. As special case, The buffer should be rounded bigger diameter of coil spring than other layers.

@@thinkthinkcarkorea the ring of the spring on which urethane is installed is not participating in the action, so logic says it just reduced suspension travel, and put more pressure on other parts of the spring.
