fun fact: irl it had 2 mgs one was a roof mounted commander mg and the other was a coaxial mg which is covered by a metal plate in game, this tank also had the capability to mount a 120mm cannon and there were plans to make it capable of taking a 140mm cannon tho if i remember correctly the 140mm was only ever put onto paper.
Gaijin hates giving some tanks their historical MGs. THe AMX-500 Surbaissé had a 20mm on the roof originally but Gaijin just left it out. THere are more examples like that. It's BS
@@AlittleIron lmao yea, corrected it. My keyboards 0 is somehow damaged and likes to input two 0s when I only tap once lol. 200mm MG would be awesome though
The 120mm GT9 and the low recoil 120mm GT12 were both built and fired, but I don't think the 140mm ever was. The GT9 is the gun intended for it (GT12 to upgrade Rooikats). 140mm didn't even get to the stage of a design code.
@@GreysonRussell-tl7mnI know movies like Kelly's Heroes or Saving Private Ryan where they made a Tiger-34/85 or they outright use another tank and call it a different thing like the German Panzer M-48 Patton Ausf. G which faced the American M-4(1) Walking Shermans and the speedy British Cruiser tanks, the M-24 Chaffee from the movie Patton, but I haven't seen or heard about this supposed "Leopard 2a4" and I too would like to know
Outside of the MGs that are missing for some reason, the Loggim's 120mm was built and fired. They just never put it on as the thing was a tech demo and you can demo everything with the 105mm just fine.
With the M1 having 5s reload, idk what's stopping gaijin from giving this vehicle and the other 10.0 German tank with a 105mm the same treatment. Would greatly improve this vehicle's performance for sure.
As a new player who's been in game for 3 months and is working on rank VI GB vehicles holy shit yes get the SA line. The SARCs are decent scouts, the 6 pounder has a 50cal that is free RP, Concept 3 hits like a truck and is fast af boi, then you got the Ratel battle busses that are slow, hit hard and take a lot of shots just because of how empty they are. Eland 90 is a ratwagon of kings, then you get into Rooikat territory that just eat everything. Idk if I'm trash at the game for playing Gb but if you know how to aim their tanks do work and the SA line rewards speedy positioning and good aim. + G6 is memes, 13kg of TNT equiv bonking a plane on the head will never not be peak comedy
The SA tanks feel better than the challenger/chieftain tanks. They are somewhat similar tanks but the mobility is better on SA than on British tanks, maybe with the exception of the Vickers mark3, that one is really good, personally i think superior to the Challengers.
the Olifant that is used by the south Africa is better than the TTD because it is a combat vehicle and the best tank on the continent of Africa and is not a technology demonstration
